Fun fact about Sasuke Uchiha: Masashi Kishimoto which is the creator of Naruto has said Sasuke is the hardest character for him to draw, but he's also said that Sasuke is his favorite character because it's nice to see the fruits of time and effort in form of illustration

haha true! he wrote it in his manga that because he is the hardest to draw, he ends up spending the most time and effort on him so he became his favorite, which is just so nice. it's because he struggles with handsome characters, especially as a child.

@@bradygoldblatt560 I mean I understand that slower shows like Naruto can be a bit harder to get into specially after starting off with the more fast pace animes that you see nowadays.
I just hope they skip the fillers towards the end of naruto or else its gonna be a pain in the ass to get to Shippuden, for us and for them. I dont think we enjoy seeing them not enjoying a show.

@@DarkIlidan04Naruto honestly has worse writing than some of the shows they’ve watched so far. The pacing issue for them is surprising tho considering the Tsunade Search arc is probably the best paced out of all the Part 1 arcs.

Jirayas specialty is espionage. I assure you whenever he isn't with Naruto he has toads watching the surroundings and as far as the women goes he can detect any threat at any time and plays into it for intel.
Jiraiya likes to indulge in the ninja vices but he knows when it's time to get serious.

The people who are mad at Sasuke are the ones who havent grasped the dark af trauma he carries every day. Specially this part that changed everything and made him decide to leave. Reunion with his target and he relived the Uchiha masscre. Imagine being in his shoes seeing the gigantic diff him and Itachi has. Thats why he chose faster powerup to Oro.
Not to mention he got the events of that night replayed again for 72 hours (whatever the perception of 72 hours within tsukuyomi is), like of course he's gonna have a change after an experience like that. He's not gonna just revert back to normal

Dunno if anyone else said this yet, but Naruto was about to use the Fire Release: Dragon Flame Bullet jutsu during the goldfish game. A lot of people try to say it was Reaper Death Seal, which they got from clickbait Shorts/Tik Tok "fact" videos. The Handsigns Naruto used are Ram-Horse-Snake-Dragon-Rat-Ox-Tiger, and this Jutsu is first displayed in Episode 71 by Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage.
one cool thing people realized about the woman who Itachi used to lure Jiraya, is that if you rewatch the scene where she notices somethings off, where she looks, Itachi and Kisame can be seen in the far background on a bridge.

he doesn’t hate he just doesn’t like the pace it’s too slow according to him and so many unnecessary childish scenes that some ppl found appealing but not to him cos he prefers sth that is serious, and a bit dark he doesn’t like the comedy in the show.
@silmiksaid well he's gonna have to get used to it, those old school shonens (especially those of thr big three) have that type of trope of inserting that type of comedy. But honestly I expect this from him especially since he's so used to seasonal anime like aot and demon slayer

@brigandrus Overhyping stuff or characters kinda spoils the depth of certain arcs. I get the excitement of having friends watch a personal favorite, but your cousins' reactions are much more enjoyable when they are caught by surprise. Just like when you react to GoT, your reactions are usually very natural and I like that. And if you notice, Jack is the one that is criticized there because of his rapid theory debunking. I get it's hard to be like McKay and just enjoy the chaos on and out of screen with a smile, since both Jack and you are your own person. I can't wait until they get to Naruto Shippuden, it has some of my favorite arcs in anime. I know Naruto has a lot of filler and issues but as a whole I love it and the music is so amazing. I was shocked they started with Naruto but I guess you have too, I do remember watching this series for the first time and loving it so I understand. It just feels so far behind of everything but you do need the back story.

Unpopular opinion, but the consistently bad pacing for the past great shonen makes all of them below mid for reactions. Shippuden does get better, imo, past the first arc @@jbriggs06
@@hagelmannen I grew up with Naruto so I'm not hating it I loved the show but rewatching it with them you can see so many flaws of how anime used to be handled. It's not the fault of the story but rather just how anime was handled back then. Episodes needing to come out weekly cause Naruto, One Piece and Bleach had to carry the burden of selling all the time to keep the business going. So much added filler to stretch the arcs out so you lose all sense of danger or emotion especially when you compare it to anime these days. One Piece is getting a remake due to these issues and man OG Naruto could use the same.
