I'm also learning für elise and can only play until the start of the chorus, but I can play the piece on tempo. I have tried to learn this song from other piano teachers on you tube and it was so difficult I gave up. However, one day I decided to try again but this time round when I was scrolling down looking I just decided to try Ryan Jones. I was surprised about his teaching style. Within the first day I could play part one without a problem. I feel that He makes it so easy to learn. Let me mention here that I am talking about my own personal experience which may not be necesarily the same with everybody else. He is a great teacher!!!!

Many years ago, Pachelbel Cannon was used as an underscore to an advert for English wool carpets. Prior to that most people did not even know it existed. An interesting version, although from a purely personal point of view would preferrred a little more legato; but equally given his span and ability to hold an Octave chord is amazing. Keep at it kid, your genious will continue to grow.

Further, did qualify if by saying that the child's ability to hold and Octave +2 span is very good. Few adults can do that. Thanks for this video. I fell in love with the way you play it and downloaded the sheet and bought a 5-octave casio keyboard. Have been playing for 5-10 minutes everyday for the past 6 months and I think I've finally got it. Just need to practice up the ending chords. Likewise I love this so much I bought a Roland FP30 and downloaded the sheet music 2 months ago (August 2018) I am onto Part 7 now and hopefully can play the whole thing smoothly in a month's time. Only started learning piano seriously 2 months ago with no music foundation. I am 61 years old and retired so have plenty of time to practice, but Ryan's tutorial makes it so much easier. I have finally nailed it after 6 months (now 5March 2019) averaging 30 minutes everyday on this piece. At the beginning I never thought I could manage it. Hard work paid off. Note that I watched Jacob's Piano Canon in D Utube for part 7 as Ryan is playing part 7 in a different way.
Made me shed a tear. Definitely gonna play this again I forgot some key parts but I can manage . I remember I played this in middle school & cried because I actually played a good piece. wow . ❤️
Ryan plays this beautifully with some very sensitive changes of tempo. In ensamble playing the bass playerr understandably gets bored with the repetition. It is an iconic piece of music and deserves its popularity especially as it sounds so good on so many different instruments.

. . มีเมืองเล็กๆ ที่สวยและสงบสุขเมืองหนึ่ง มีคู่รักคู่หนึ่งที่รักกันมาก
ทุกวันพวกเขาจะพากันไปชม พระอาทิตย์ขึ้นที่ชายหาด
และไปส่งพระอาทิตย์ลับขอบฟ้าที่ชายหาดตอนโพล้เพล้
ทุกคนที่เคยพบเจอพวกเขาจะมองด้วยสายตาอิจฉาในความรักของคนคู่นี้เสมอ..
แต่แล้ววันหนึ่งเกิดอุบัติเหตุรถชนขึ้น
หญิงสาวผู้โชคร้ายได้รับบาดเจ็บสาหัส
เธอนอนเงียบๆอยู่บนเตียงของโรงพยาบาล
วันแล้ววันเล่า คืนแล้วคืนเล่า เธอก็ยังคงไม่ฟื้นคืนมา
ตอนกลางวัน ชายหนุ่มจะมาเฝ้าอยู่ที่หน้าเตียง
ร้องเรียกคนรักของเขาเสมอ ทั้งๆ ที่เธอไม่ตอบสนองใดๆเลย ตกกลางคืน ชายหนุ่มจะไปสวดภาวนาอ้อนวอนต่อพระผู้เป็นเจ้าที่โบสถ์นอกเมือง เขาร้องไห้จนน้ำตาเหือดแห้งไม่มีจะไหลออกมาอีกแล้ว
ผ่านไป 1 เดือน
หญิงสาวยังคงหลับใหลไม่ฟื้นเหมือนเดิม
ส่วนชายหนุ่มก็ดูจะซูบเซียวขึ้นทุกวัน
แต่ก็ยังคงสวดอ้อนวอนต่อพระผู้เป็นเจ้าอยู่เสมอไม่หยุด
แต่แล้ววันหนึ่งพระผู้เป็นเจ้าก็เกิดเห็นใจในรักของชายหนุ่ม
และตกลงที่จะประทานพรให้แก่เขา พระผู้เป็นเจ้าได้ถามชายหนุ่มว่า
“เจ้ายอมที่จะแลกพรนี้ด้วยชีวิตของเจ้าไหม”
ชายหนุ่มตอบโดยไม่ลังเลว่า “ ผมยอมครับ”
พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพูดว่า “งั้นดีละ ฉันจะให้คนรักของเจ้าฟื้นขึ้นมา
แต่เจ้าต้องแลกกับการกลายเป็นแมลงปอเป็นเวลา 3 ปี เจ้าจะตกลงยอมไหม” ชายหนุ่มได้ฟังดังนั้น แต่ก็ยังคงยืนยันคำตอบเดิม “ผมยอมครับ”
ฟ้าสางแล้ว
ชายหนุ่มได้กลายเป็นแมลงปอสวยงามตัวหนึ่ง
เขาบอกลาพระผู้เป็นเจ้าแล้วรีบบินกลับไปที่โรงพยาบาล
หญิงสาวฟื้นขึ้นมาแล้วจริงๆ มีนายแพทย์หนุ่มยืนอยู่ข้างๆเธอ คุยเรื่องอะไรกันสักอย่างหนึ่ง แต่ช่างน่าเสียดายที่เขาไม่สามารถที่จะได้ยิน..
หลายวันผ่านไป
หญิงสาวแข็งแรงพอที่จะออกจากโรงพยาบาลได้แล้ว
แต่เธอดูไม่มีความสุขเลย เธอออกตระเวนหาข่าวคราวของชายหนุ่ม
แต่ไม่มีใครรู้เลยว่าชายหนุ่มหายไปอยู่ที่ไหน
หญิงสาวยังไม่ละความพยายามที่จะตามหาชายคนรักของเธอ
ชายหนุ่มซึ่งอยู่ในร่างของเจ้าแมลงปอได้แต่บินวนเวียนอยู่รอบตัวหญิงสาวไม่ห่าง ทว่าเขาไม่สามารถที่จะส่งเสียง ไม่สามารถโอบกอดเธอ
เขาทำได้แค่เพียงเฝ้ามองดูหญิงสาวไม่ให้คลาดสายตาเท่านั้น
ฤดูร้อนผ่านไปแล้ว
ลมฤดูใบไม้ร่วงพัดใบไม้ปลิวร่วงหล่นจากต้นไม้ใหญ่
เจ้าแมลงปอจำต้องจากที่นี่ไปแล้ว นี่เป็นครั้งสุดท้ายที่เขาจะได้บินมาเกาะที่บ่าของหญิงสาว เขาอยากใช้ปีกของเขาลูบไล้ใบหน้าของหญิงสาว

และยังกล่าวถึงความรักของคนทั้งคู่ที่เหมือนถูกกำหนดมาอย่างไรอย่างนั้น
แน่นอนพวกเขายังคงพูดถึงหญิงสาวที่สดใสร่าเริงขึ้นกว่าเมื่อก่อนมากมายนัก
เจ้าแมลงปอรู้สึกเจ็บปวดยิ่งนัก
หลังจากนั้นไม่กี่วัน แมลงปอเห็นแพทย์หนุ่มผู้นั้นพาคนรักของตนไปชายทะเลเพื่อดูพระอาทิตย์ขึ้น พลบค่ำก็อยู่ที่ชายหาดเพื่อดูพระอาทิตย์ตก
แต่สำหรับเขาแล้ว
นอกจากบินมาเกาะที่บ่าของหญิงสาวแล้ว เขาไม่สามารถทำอะไรได้เลย
หน้าร้อนของปีนี้ช่างยาวนานนัก เจ้าแมลงปอบินต่ำลงๆ ทุกวันด้วยความรู้สึกที่เจ็บปวด เขาไม่มีเรี่ยวแรงเพียงพอที่จะบินเข้าใกล้ หญิงอันเป็นที่รัก
ท่าทางการพูดคุยกันอย่างสนิทสนมของคนทั้งคู่ เสียงหัวเราะอย่างมีความสุขของทั้งคู่ ทำให้เขารู้สึกโดดเดี่ยวยิ่งนัก
ย่างเข้าฤดูร้อนของปีที่ 3
เจ้าแมลงปอไม่ค่อยไปเฝ้าดูคนรักของเขาแล้ว บ่าของเธอบัดนี้ถูกโอบกอดด้วยมือของแพทย์หนุ่ม ใบหน้าถูกประทับจูบอย่างเบาๆ จากเขาผู้นั้น
ดูท่าทางแล้วไม่มีทางเลยที่หญิงสาวจะมีเวลาที่จะไปคิดถึงแมลงปอที่เจ็บปวดตัวหนึ่ง และไม่มีทางที่จะไปคิดถึงอดีตที่ผ่านไป
วันครบรอบปีที่ 3 ที่พระผู้เป็นเจ้ากำหนดไว้ใกล้มาถึงแล้ว
คนรักของเจ้าแมลงปอกับนายแพทย์หนุ่มได้จัดพิธีแต่งงานขึ้นในวันสุดท้ายนั้นเอง เจ้าแมลงปอค่อยๆ บินเข้าไปในโบสถ์ และไปเกาะที่บ่าของพระผู้เป็นเจ้า เขาได้ยินเสียงของคนรักที่ดังมาจากข้างล่างตอบรับคำสาบานของพระผู้เป็นเจ้าว่า
“ฉันยอมรับ”
เขาเห็นแพทย์หนุ่มคนนั้นสวมแหวนให้คนรักของเขา ตามด้วยจุมพิตที่แสนหวานของคนทั้งคู่ เจ้าแมลงปอปล่อยให้น้ำตาแห่งความเจ็บปวดไหลออกมา
พระผู้เป็นเจ้าถามแมลงปอว่า “เจ้ารู้สึกเสียใจไหม”
เจ้าแมลงปอเช็ดน้ำตาแล้วตอบว่า “เปล่า”
พระผู้เป็นเจ้าถอนหายใจแล้วพูดต่อว่า
“งั้นพรุ่งนี้เจ้าก็ได้กลับเป็นเจ้าคนเดิมแล้ว”
เจ้าแมลงปอส่ายหน้าอย่างช้าๆ ก่อนตอบว่า
“ขอผมเป็นแมลงปออย่างนี้ไปตลอดชีวิตเถอะครับ”
