Thank you for showing your witchy journals and explaining how you work with them! I find it super interesting to learn about other witches' journaling practices and grimoires. And yours are so beautiful too! I have a LOT of magickal journals too...: an bullet journal with space for monthly witchy stuff, a tiny sigil catalogue journal, a pocket diary for my daily card draws, a tarot journal, a book of shadows/grimoire in which I write down what I've been learning (mostly from youtube), a spell recipe book (mostly for spell bags), grimoires that talk more about my own practice and ideas, a small wheel of the year ideas/correspondences journal... I also want to make a herbal/plant magick binder. I think that's it? 🤭 They all stay mostly at home in an ikea trolley and on my living room table where I do most of my creative stuff at the moment.

Dang! What a book lineup! That trolley idea sounds like a great storage solution for them too! I'm in the process of starting a bookish thing for self care recipes so I'm in the process of expanding my system as well lol thanks for all the inspo!

@@ElderberrySprout Thanks! 🙂 That's such an awesome idea to make a self care recipes book!

I have always been drawn to witchy things and practices, but have somehow never managed to actually get into it. I suspect that I allowed others to steer me away because I lacked self-confidence and self-esteem. But I have been through an incredible journey of self-discovery and healing in the past year/two years, and I am finally going to follow the path that my heart and the energies around me are leading! I'm SO excited to have discovered this video and your channel, because your journals and books look exactly like the kinds that I would want to create! I'm looking forward to exploring the rest of your channel and finding more inspiration to start my journey :) Thank you for sharing and inspiring!

If you have a michaels near you the artist loft brand which is like $5 with pockets all around is great to store pens.markers.spices glue and notebook in the middle also if you buy a 10x24 art pad fold the pages in half and yiu have a full size journal to witch up with stuff that's what I do so I get that 8x10 feel

I have had and still have so many journals! I try to be semi-systematic and specific with them, but you have some great ideas here that I’d like to try, especially the dream journal with clips and your keyword idea! I’m liking how you keep your travel journals, too. Thank you so much for sharing!

Yay! I'm so glad you found my detaily systems helpful! And I hope the dream journal clips help! They were a game changer for me!

I adore your grimoire! Have you considered making an instructional video on how we could make our own?

What a great question! I've made a series about how I made my most recent book of shadows, and I use the exact same process for my grimoire :) Its a 4 part series so you could definitely follow along and make your own as well! Good luck!

I’ve been keeping my dream journal digital. I type much faster the write, especially in that in-between space. Plus when I’m typing I don’t have to worry about spelling which trips me up when I’m writing.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who has alot of journals. Right now my magical journal journey is kinda on hold as I’m trying to work out what I want and need. Right now I’m in the beginning space of learning and so I’m in taking alot of information. Most I’ve been writing it all on a word document which would be a lot of work to hand write into a journal. I had thought about printing it out with wide margins and blanks spots that I could decorate around the typed words and put it all in a binder.
I also keep journals for other things too; like a creative memory journal, a daily journal and a common place journal. One day I’ll work up the courage to share on UA-cam. For now I share on Instagram.
Also sorry for the long comment.

Thanks so much for sharing your insight about the digital dream journal! I'm sure if i didn't have sausage fingers that would be an amazing solution for me as well lol
Also, this is my collection right now. I'm sure the frequency in which I work in these journals will ebb and flow over time.
It sounds like you use your word document like I use my book of shadows, jotting all sorts of things in it. I dont share that book online because of my unsightly chicken scratch and the chaos of taking notes lol
I think its awesome that youre reflecting on what you want and need before diving in! Plus, digital books of shadows/dream journals are valid as well! They are still journals if you ask me :)
Thanks again for your thoughtful comment!

Love your collection! Personally, I have 5 journals I use. My BOS, my notebook for creating sigils or making notes before I add them into my BOS, my art grimoire, my tarot journal, and an insert in my traveler's notebook with a list of things I want to include in my BOS or grimoire 💜✨

Thank you so much for sharing your system! I really like the idea of having a dedicated sigil book as well, but so far that just goes in my messy bos. I love the idea of having an art grimoire as well, one that is less information focused like mine is right now. Ahhh so many great ideas!

I'm so glad you got new ideas and enjoyed the video! And the fabric is a thrifted valence curtain set lol I plan on making it into a crop top but I thought it was so Autumn colored I had to use it as a table cloth at least a little bit!
