Man thanks for clarifying this, I was questioning my sanity. Currently comparing the 3 sizes and it’s really confusing from that perspective, they are inconsistent with the counting! They even put the 5, 8, and 12 in the same manual!
it is an exact replica of Tapco mix 60 which was launched almost12-13 years ago..I have it since then and it still functions.Except for one ctrl room knob everything functions well

Excellent video. Question...? Can I use it for playing clicks and Backing track for a drummer? For example. Plug Tablet with a split cable to channel 1 and 2 to run a panned sequence (Left click metronome and right instruments for the backing track). Then plug headphones for the drummer so he only listens to the clicks and Backing track. Will the rest only listen to the backing track and not te clicks metronome????? Is the CR output independent from de Main mix?

You're right, I read the manual before reviewing the mixer. But to this point, it is the only model mixer so far that I have reviewed to count the return in the total number of channels listed.

I'm thinking use this mixer for 3 instruments at the same time. Moog mother32, Moog sub37 and Elektron analog RYTM. Also, I'd use HW effects such as Eventide space, and TC electronic flashback. All connected to Focusrite 2i2. Will this mixer handle it? And what would the best way of connecting all this together? Thanks

Mackie hasn’t really improved there desks for years. There’s nothing new here. How about an upgrade on the mic pres. a decent compressor on the mic Channels.

These is a great little mixer. Except: the aux send is mono. Mackie: "Don't worry if it's mono..." Just know that it is mono.
Is the RCA 3.5 cable you mention to plug in an iPhone? And is the adaptor separate?
if your phone like new iPhones that do not have a 3.5 headphone port you will need the adapter.

It will, but the best way of connecting depends on your creative task. Watching tutorials on mixers in general could really help you figure it out.

Hi, I'm late but yes it is, master controls everything here, even phones volume, It doesn't sound when master it's turn off.
