Jackie Jackie i was not raised Jewish. Yet at this point in my life i wondered (everyday) why i am not in Israel, but Usa. I listen to Rabbi Anava daily. Christianity does Not have All the answers, judaism answered and provided logic to the missing parts of the christian bible. I LOVE the intellectual stimulation. I have embraced the culture, the commandments, the music. Who does not want to be the Apple of G-d’s eye. I have covered my hair for 2 years now and understand why. It is a privelege that my body is able to serve him through thoughts, words and action. I have Peace in my heart. I had the pleasure of seeing Rabbi Anava in LA. My knees literally shook, my face got hot. There is a presence that enters the room With him, it was like a trembling of respect and awe.
I recently did dna test and traced family roots to spain during the inquisition. We were conversos, trying now to find the Jewish name BEFORE it was changed to spanish name.
