⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ R32 Type Subway Car Removed from Service - Last Runs on the J/Z Lines

After 56 years of passenger service, the R32s have been removed from passenger operation on the NYC Subway. These cars temporarily returned to service on the J/Z lines after the new R179 cars were temporarily removed from service for engineering inspections. However, they are still in use for non-revenue work/garbage train service.
Enjoy these clips of the R32s in their final weeks of operation before their removal from service. It is unclear whether or not they will return to active service in the future.
