i was wondering why start at such high heat (220 C) but it's interesting that you took into account that oil will cool when adding chicken and then you try to keep it at right temperature, need to try that!

Using less oil to cook fried foods is less hustle,
but we need to remind that "less oil = temperature drop down more"

This is one recipe i hear mentioned all the time on TV and Movies and although i have made it before , i will be giving this version a try. Nice to see you cooking again buddy ,Stay safe and healthy. I believe this Chinese dish is actually called General So So Chicken , where as your version should be called General Labos Superior tasting chicken. *describing a dish as so so means it tastes average. :)

If I'm replacing kumbu with msg is it same amount of msg as kumbu to be added that is 4gm as mentioned in the recipient.
