Thanks Ryan you are good and honest I’ve been 5 yrs hours and hours and still not sure you’re right I’m just about to get some valued. To see if I’m on the right track. Nana Oz
really like your channel - not a collector, but like so many people I inherited a huge stamp collection of very old stamps. I keep hoping I find one that is worth something! No luck yet.
The one pictured in the thumbnail is worth one cent as postage. I like when I get announcements about stamp shows. They always put some choice stamps on the postcard.
Thank you! I've seen enough of these misleading videos to become upset that new collectors will be misled, disappointed and give up or ripped off. I just discovered this video of yours and I am interested in what else you have to say. There are too few informative philatelic platforms these days.
Thanks for your nice comment. I plan on making more of these videos and agree with you about the misleading videos. You can see my stamp offerings by joining my Facebook group. I post 75 stamps a week. Just search for US Stamp Shop on Facebook.
My father grew up in NYC in the 1920’s and 1930’s. Because he so very gifted he had many mentors happy to spend time with him. They helped him build a wonderful US collection. He gave the collection to his nephew when he went off to WWII. The nephew promptly sold it for a song. My dad took up the hobby again and was heartbroken to see what those stamps were worth. First day covers of Zeps would be a charming part of any collection. I like what you are doing here. I think the USPS killed the joy of stamp collecting in two important ways. No longer can you lift stamps with water. Should kids hover over a bowl of solvents? 😂 I think it also hurt that first-class postage no longer bears a denomination. That’s always served me well to place a stamp in a rough period of time. (Starting with the 4¢ issues.) Sometime soon a memorial stamp will come out bearing the name of that president and the word FOREVER. I’ll pass on that.
@@martinphilip8998 great story thanks for sharing! WOW Zep covers are great investments. As for the newer stuff yes it make it hard for new collectors to collect free used stamps off their mail. I’m sure someone has found a way to lift them off without damage. I’ll have to look into that and put it in a video.
Hi im also see ! Im Collecting one year another price is catalog another dealers another stamp w.. i have 10 album USA if you want help me this one cent i have 300 stamps
yes! 10 BILLIONs ha! 3 possibiltys: 1) click bait 2) PT Barnum at work 3) money laundering? you d have to be damn dense to fork out real $$$ for a net value .05 stamp!
The same thing is happening with 2 New Pence pennies in England. There is one issue that is considered valuable. Good luck finding it. I do coin roll searches and there are many varieties of errors and exceptions I could look for but when I hit 70, my eyes caught up with me. I can still tell a silver dime if it’s dropped. There’s an Asian guy who comes in to use the CoinStar at my local grocery store. He’ll pour dimes into it until it breaks down. 8 hours with one day. He trades the coupons for gift cards so there is no fee. I finally realized he’s letting the machine do his coin roll searching for him. Each silver dime is worth about $2.35. The machine rejects them as slugs since they are heavier than any dime after 1964.

Learning more from you in several videos than in years of experience.
Thanks so much for your feedback Christpher 👍

Thanks for watching! Learning about stamps is a byproduct of trying to find one worth some money, and how many people eventually become collectors.
🍁 Excellent Stamp Channel 🍁

Great job Ryan
Why is there a bunch of good sold comps on eBay around $500 ?
Please share and I can take a look. If they did sell at that price it may be a graded lower value issue.

Same thing happens with coins, lot of bs artists out there.
So what do ya do if ya got a stamp that measures exactly what you said.
You need to send it to be certified. Nobody will buy it without a certification. Look up “professional stamp experts” PSE online and submit it.

Eso no es seguro
Yes it is. It does not damage the stamp to gum.
🟩 yes you are correct 🟩
Zero value & still need to be saved
🟨 correct but still worth a penny or maybe a nickel in used condition
