My Momma just turned 91 yesterday! She’s from Cherokee, IA and now lives in North Carolina where I moved her so I could take care of her. Could you please name a heifer after her! Her name is DeloresBroderson Steele. Her brother lived in the same town as Tiffany. I grew up in Sioux City, IA. We watch all your videos and look forward to each and every one! Cole; you are a wonderful son and it’s because you have great parents with great attitudes! We love to hear the Father-Son banter! You can tell how much you love each other! 😊Good luck on the Claving Season!

My Mom used to water all of our heifers in the winter using 5 gallon pails. Over 35 years her shoulders were shot. One joint was replaced the other had rotator cuff surgery. That shoulder really never came around as she hoped. Mom says if she were to do it again she would have that replaced too. Personally Brian, I think if you can get through your farming career without surgery that would be an amazing accomplishment. I'm pulling for you.

Same for me until, my 60's, then both shoulders and both knees needed surgery. Farmed until I was 30 and no broken bones or surgeries, but the next 30 years was different.😮

I was into the last week of my sickness so I spent a sort of 2 week sick paid. 😅 vacation.

Thanks for another great video Cole.
    It was interesting and informative.
Thanks for the song of the day Brian. That is a good one. Has good music. Good group.
Moving those little calves takes patience. You both are so good with them. Both of you are amazing herdsmen. Appreciate what you do.
Your rye is coming up pretty good. Nice to see green in a field. You did good with the rye.
Brian. No surgery after 45 years on the farm. And yes shoulders give problems after lifting and carrying things on the farm over the years. Brian you are doing good without any surgery. Hopefully you can continue to be healthy as you are. Hang in there.
Getting ready to haul grain you said. Getting equipment ready to do that I see. Always a busy time hauling grain.
About it I guess. Cole, glad you are feeling better. Hang in there.
    Thanks for everything.

Hey Brian and Cole! Terrific job with the "Claving"! Brian, I had my shoulder repaired a couple of years ago. The Bicep Tendon up top had popped out of the grove it rested in so they detached it and reattached it lower on my humerus and that relieved so much pain and it works just fine. These docs can really do awesome stuff nowadays! I admire your resolve for having no surgeries in your 45 years of farming considering all the battles I'm sure you've had; that's got to be some kind of record! You're an Iron Man!!!. I'd love for you to name a Bull clave "Curley" after your old fellow Packer fan from Milton, Wisconsin! Best of luck with all you do guys!

Brian, and Cole Thanks for bring us along on your adventures of raising cattle. It is such a honor to watch you all work in such great harmony together. Brain you are a great dad, and Cole a wonderful son. So brave to work with such majestic creatures. As a 5 year old city girl I was chased by an angry bull on my uncles dairy farm. My evil sisters thought it would be funny to watch the bull chase me down since I was wearing a red shirt . Pretty Please!! I would be so grateful If you have a spare bull you could name after me. Maybe after 50 years my sister will stop teasing me about being afraid of a little old bull. So I was screaming for my life as that bull was charging towards me. Thank God my uncle ran faster then bull. Thank you for sharing your journey and Pretty Pretty Please! O" my name is Valerie or Valerio boys spelling (Italian).
