Beckham is living his best life in his new wheelchair. He looks so happy being more involved with the family! He is just a rock star ⭐️ navigating his chair!! Go Beckham 🙌🙌 0:07
The power of observation is incredible. I guarantee he watches the other kids do this at school all day. It probably also helps that he's built up so much arm strength pulling himself around for so long. Also I love that you color coordinated his outfit to his chair the whole video. 👏
This was so insightful!!!
The fact he can use his hands so well is amazing! He has a very bright future, and you are very good parents. I love that you're showing child disability in such a positive way. Don't forget your son is a SMART little boy who hears and understands everything.
My son is now 32 years old. He has quad spastic CP, he's blind, and he can't use his hands like Beckham can. He does talk (garbled) and is a polyglot. Make sure you get intensive OT and speech therapy while Beckham is young.
Good job, mama and papa.
I can't believe how good he operates his wheelchair! It really allows him to engage with everyone. So happy for the family!
You're so sweet! We are so proud!
High am happy for your son...
I wish my. Daughter she be able to drive. her wheel chair.
@@HOUSEOFHUGHES_ when will he get a walker?
@@Goldenbudgetsavings2problely quite a while as he isn’t fully mobile! Xx
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I almost cried watching Beckham push himself. So happy for you guys.
O MY Gosh!!! Look at you go buddy!!! Such a big boy! I can not even believe just how much Mr Beckham has grown! I am shocked at how well he is moving around and controlling his new chair! Such a smart boy. So cute. And those little tootsies .too cute. You guys are amazing parents. Thank you for sharing such a heartwarming journey. He is truly an amazing little boy. So happy for him!! ❤
You are so sweet Laura! Thank you for your support and for loving my little man!
@@HOUSEOFHUGHES_ ❤️ of course!!
It must make him feel good to have more control over where can go and what he can do. Im so happy for him.
Oh so sweet to see Becks exploring in his new chair! He has such a look of inquiry on his face, so curious! And his smile playing w those little chicks!! Adorable! Oh and I’d like a piece of Blakelys pizza too🥰
Yes! Watching. him explore is amazing!
Amazing! What a smart little man!!! Congratulations Beckham👏👏👏
This is truely so beautiful! The second I saw him pushing himself in the chair I lost it! 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 and watching him move around the house…. God is good 🫶🏼
❤❤❤. Beckham looks so grown up in his wheelchair. Wow, It's awesome watching him control it. Knowing what to do came naturally for him as if he'd been doing it forever.
This is a huge win. Congratulations to all!
We won’t need another wheel chair in 5 years because he will be walking🤍❤️ he’s so strong!!
Omg Beckham you are absolutely amazing I can’t wait til you get back to intensive therapy and show everyone what you can do now ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Huge Congratulations on Beckhams new chapter 🎉 SO excited for you all - sending with love ❤ for older Beckham ❤ maybe gently reduce the positive feedback for throwing things - maybe encourage instead "no ❤ dont throw, keep it safe" unless in a ball play game- our experience from my handicapped adult sister is throwing transitioned from fun at the toddler stage to become an expression of anger or frustration later (now sometimes with bedside clocks and ipads etc being thrown in frustration) which is very hard for us sometimes ( my husband got a cut over his eyebrow from a thrown dvd that needed attention) and also this throwing when frustrated jeopordises her place in some learning classes / care settings because it is dangerous and destructive for other users and care staff ❤ it is so wonderful to see how you both show gratitude and nurturing encouragement for new skills as they appear , maybe you can think of it as a positive milestone to now be considering teaching modification of new behaviours to Beckham for his and your all longterm happiness - in a way it is the same as showing which way round to hold a fork 🤗 which way round to apply a social skill - so pleased for you guys with the chair - wow 🙏
Очень за вас рада❤ это супер, что он им полностью управляет. Этому мальчику здоровья и побед.👍👍👍
Семье ❤❤❤
Ive been watching since he couldn’t even support his head properly and look at him now🥹 Beckham you are such a WARRIOR! So proud of you sweet boy! Enjoy your new independence🥺🩷
OMG, he is so freaking smart and cute all at the same time. So impressed with him, I love watching him grow.
Beckham using his hands to push his wheelchair on his own had me in tears. he's come such a long way I remember when i got my custom wheelchair at his age.
Awe thank you so much for being so excited with us! That is so cool you remember when you got yours!

Tears 😭. The most amazing boy ever! He is so smart. Watch out world here comes Beckham!
YES YES YES!!!
My brother had a jumper that said 'LOOK OUT, HERE I COME!' on it when he was little.
I'm crying right now with happiness. BECKHAM's world has gotten so much bigger now with his wheelchair.
Just wonderful how quickly Beckham figured the chair out. Much ❤️
Its been the biggest blessing!
Beckham is so stinking cute in that wheelchair! Also his hair is growing so fast❤ He is adorable ❤
So happy for you and Beckham! This is so impressive. He can turn so well and truly seems happy being more upright. So much progress, I can tell! Great Vlog.
He seriously always surprises me in the best ways! He is my hero!
Wow! Beckham,I’m so very proud of you!! You’re a really masterful little man!🩵
It is amazing how he can use his wheelchair. So cute!!
Beckham, Rachel, it is so uplifting sight, you made my day! Many new views at world around! And hopping chickens was a hit ;)
Wow! He is amazing. Won't be long and he'll be getting a spoon out of the drawer for you!!!!! ❤ So happy for you all.
I WOULD DIE
So awesome to see the coordination and considered control that Beckham uses to move himself around in his wheelchair. He is using his ‘legs’ to choose more effectively where he wants to go. Well done to his family for putting in the considerate effort it takes to source this chair for him. I look forward to seeing similar focus on an AAC to support him to share his thoughts and wants as I am sure he has to capability to do given the right communication system. He is no longer a toddler, and neither is his younger sister. They are both preschool energetic and capable preschoolers, all be it with different needs and capacities.
Wow I am just getting tears in my eyes Beckham is doing so good in hiss wheelchair … this is amazing so happy for Beckham and your family.. love from Spain 🇪🇸
He has a front row seat for everything now! Blakley is a wonderful sister!
Woooow he is so smart !!!! Look at how he moves around in his wheelchair ❤ that is amazing to see, so proud of him 🥺🥲
His smile every time he succeeds in what he does…adorable!
Beckham is brilliant! As humans, I think we unconsciously alter our understanding of someone’s intellectual ability when they have a physical disability. My sister has an entirely physical disability and is so often automatically treated as though she doesn’t understand. Despite my experiences of this, I will admit that I was shocked by Beckham’s ability to learn and understand how to move his wheelchair and I realised I had clearly been doing exactly the same. For anyone who ever doubts Beckham’s intellectual ability, just show them this video! He is clearly a very smart boy! Also Blakely just cracks me up!
GO Beckham GO! What a life game changer for him! I love his reaction and exploration! Your dedication and your channel is so inspiring and meaningful.❤
Congratulations beckam on your new cute wheelchair and I'm glad that blakeley is helping beckam trying to look out the window
… bless Beckham’s beautiful heart …. How cute is he .. xx
Thank you! 🫶🏻
That's amazing! First video you've posted in a while where I'm seriously "shocked"! Look at him turn and explore all of his own! My 6 year old still doesn't understand how to be mobile in his!
Awe this makes me so happy!
@HOUSEOFHUGHES_ my little man can now walk some. But still uses wheelchair daily due to limited abilities in the area. But with his severe intellectual disability as well as severe/low functioning/level 3 autism and Lennox gastaut syndrome... his cognitive side of things is probably the most affected. And because of that, he still has a developmental age average around 15-18 months (some as low as 9 months, some as high as 2 depending on developmenal area). His CP is level 3 on the gmfcs (moderate)... all types to varying degrees (some around level 2, some level 4, average being 3 as I mentioned). He has mild HIE at birth and severe from near sudep as an infant. Has so many severe medical emergencies to this day! But still fighting! These kids are SO, SO STRONG!

This the most recent shirt of his walking progress! Got so much better after AFOs! I know.yiu probably don't wanna watch it. But posted link just in case! Us special needs Mommas gotta stick together!
One day he will be able to control his chair. It's amazing what kids can do!
@francesrosesuarez6266 maybe he will. Maybe he won't. Either way he's done beat many odds... and if the only thing he ever does from here... is... SURVIVE, I'll still be filled with pride!
Wow! He's doing so well maneuvering his wheelchair! This little guy has WHEELS! You can see him being curious and now he can satisfy his curiosity in a whole new wonderful way!
Wow 👌 👏 amazing ...it's like he knows what to do ! Great job buddy!
Thank you so much Stacey!
So happy for him.He is happy to be able to interact with everyone in such an awesome way. There is so much more of life to come. He is adorable! So is his sissy. This is an exciting journey of new mobility.🤗🫶🏻😎
I watched one of your videos the other day and later I found out I was subscribed to this channel. Do you have an auto add? I never added this channel and thought it quite strange

Great job! Please get him some gloves for his hands 👍🏼💜
Blakely, the best little sister ever! The way Beckham took to his wheelchair is absolutely amazing!
She is so supportive and has done great letting him do it on his own!
Congrats on your new wheels Beckham let him excel by himself he's a strong kid and he wants to soar. Love seeing you Beckham go explore your world. See ya again. God Bless
You're an angel! Thank you so much!
Omg Beckham you are so intuitive you knew what to do. Such proud mama and dada moments
I have tears of happiness watching Beckham reaching this milestone with his wheelchair, it melts my heart to see him gain some independence (like learning to drive 😉😊) he is controlling it so well 👏🏻💪🏽. Blakeley is so good with Beckham and appears to understand his limitations much more now, bless them both 🙏🏼🥰 xxx
Congrats Beckham, hunter, Rachel, Blakely for getting a beautiful custom made wheelchair and Beckham is so adorable just like Blakely and Beckham welcome to the wheelchair life and he get stronger every time.
Can't wait to see the new vlog and hope you guys have a great Friday afternoon and evening with the kids and a wonderful weekend ahead and can't wait to see Beckham's custom wheelchair and hope he really likes it and also does the chair have a color and design and can't wait to see his reaction to his first custom wheelchair.
Thank you angel!
At some point is he going to get an iPad that has buttons so he can talk
That's amazing!!! Go Beckham 🎉🎉🎉
Beckham, you are amazing! This wheelchair is going to open so many opportunities
for Beckham & your family.
Watch out world Beckham is on the move!!!🙏💙🎆🎉🦽
I can't wait to experience all your new adventures, I am so excited for all of you🎉😊🥰
I LOVE YOU! Thank you for being as excited as we are!
Beckham is smart! It must be so wonderful for him to be upright and see the world from that way. It will give his brain a real boost!
Rachel, I think it's official - Beckham is a big preschooler now! I don't usually bug you. I try to just enjoy. But there is a thing called a self-fulfilling prophecy where we rise to the level of the expectations around us. Beckham is so ready to be a pre-schooler! To have big kid expectations. He'll rise to the challenge. You'll see. Thank you for sharing your home with the world. Thereby opening your life to unasked for advice and nasty criticism. I want to be an encouraging voice for you. ❤
Well that just makes you cry HAPPY TEARS he does amazing in the chair.🎉
YES!!
Oh wow Beckham is the best he is doing so good 😊
I'm so happy for Beckham he has mastered it so quickly

I’m so so happy for Beckham what a little champion, I’m so proud of him he has picked it up so well. As a fulltime wheelchair user I’m impressed as it’s hard work especially navigating turns etc and he is already doing it like a pro ❤
Keep being brave Beckham!!
Oh my God, I'm shocked with Beckham's ability to move the wheelchair, he's a very intelligent boy. He looks so happy being able to explore everything, with so much interest I am very happy for Beckam, I cried watching him explore all the places 😭❤️
Greetings from Chile!

Love Beckham in his new chair he’s amazing maneuvering it around like he’s been doing it a long time God Bless him. I’m so happy for him he really needed that. God Bless your beautiful family.
Wow, Beckham is doing a great job in his wheelchair. Is he going to be in the wheelchair all day every day? As a wheelchair user myself it makes me so happy to see him being as mobile as possible!
He is splits time between his wheelchair and his belly! So he can be mobile in both ways :)
Tummy time is still important to building core strength. Hopefully walking one day.
That's amazing. He's just right on track. So happy for you guys. What a blessing.
Beckham, how bloody amazing are you!! You are so so clever and you can see how smart he is each time he has something adapted to help him achieve it in just a slightly different way. Made me smile so much, you can see how amazed and happy he is that he can enjoy things and join in/interact at everyone elses level now too. Well done all of you! He looks so little but also so grown up at the same time. He sitting in his chair, knowing he is king ❤ he is also very handsome and cute. You are both amazing parents and blakely is the best little sister he could wish for. I love your videos, thank you xx
I am so proud of him🎉
I’ve always had a special place for Shriners hospital in my heart because when I was 9 to 15 had to have back braces because I have severe scoliosis and I spent years wearing braces and never had to pay for one of them and they were all over thousands of dollars and they paid for them for me ❤
Me too! They are the amazing!
They truly are amazing!
My heart is melting. He’s so darn clever. Look how strong he is 🥹❤️❤️❤️❤️
So happy and excited for Beckham 🎉❤🎉 he looks like such a big boy in his new wheelz

PLEASE PUT COVERS ON THAT COUNTER CORNERS!! It looks like those sharp corners are like face level to him in that chair lol i could just see an accident waiting 2 happen 😬😅
WHATEEEE! When did you learn to use the wheelchair like that?!!! I can't believe it, what happiness and pride. nothing more beautiful than becoming more and more independent in your mobility
Aaaawwww, he absolutely love his "new ferrari" he handling it like a pro!!!! Be brave like Beckham❤
Congratulations Beckham you are doing so good amd Blakely is such a great sister. You have a beautiful family. Have a great weekend. 😊❤
❤❤❤❤such a brave little man some independence he will thrive smart this is life changing for Brckham and Mum and Dad. Xxxx
He is doing well; practice in everyday situations is so helpful; my best wishes from Australia;
Wow!! It was AWESOME to watch your little man checking things out from a different perspective! Looked like he was going to get a case of the zoomies, whick would be much easier on your hardwood floor as opposed to carpet!
So this is probably a stupid question, but does his team of Drs want him to still have some time daily to get around on the floor as well? I have no idea if he is able to gain any strength in his legs if he is scooting about.
It was great to see his reaction to the moving chicks...and you can just tell that hes proud of himself when he's able to grab one!!
Just one suggestion...I used to work in various medical facilities and group homes & throwing things was a serious problem with certain kids/teens. They had only been praised for it early on, and so they grew to find it funny to intentionally hurt somebody.
Im just wondering if his therapists might have certain ways to understand a difference on WHEN he's encouraged to throw things as well as when its NOT okay.
Its so sweet to see the relationship between your kids, incidentally! That footage of them looking out the window was precious!
Oh...Ive got another question that's probably stupid (I never trained to work with people who had CP, MD, etc. So is there a chance that he could eventually have a computer program that allows him to speak? That would be absolutely phenomenal if its possible in the future! That would be life changing, just like his wheelchair is! Hugs from beautiful Sacramento California!!
Oh my Goodness Bubba, how did you learn to turn the wheelchair so quickly. You are Amazing!
