@@edc1569 If the customer is unhappy with the service they are receiving, and asks you for a quote. Then that is all fine, and purely business. But when you actively target a potential customer, knowing what they pay, as they have volunteered that information, or you have found out what they are paying. And you get the job purely by offering your services for less than they are paying. Then that in my opinion is unethical.

As opposed to knocking on someone’s door and trying to hard sell your product or services at a greatly reduced price. But horses for courses and it’s all about what works for you 🤟☀️💰

How would you know if you were undercutting them? You quote what you think the job should be priced at, if the customer wants you they'll pay it.
