Felder is a very good brand, we also have a wide belt sander format4 that can sand 1300 mm in terms of width top machine and also satisfies us well. Nice video good explanation keep it up.
If you are a small shop trying to do boards that wide you more than likely are going to need to do them by hand and that is exactly what I used to have to do. To make it easier you could use an powered hand plane from the likes of Mafell or Festool or dewalt. You can mix and match on this process between manual and powered hand plane.
Just out of interest, and I know it’s dependent on width of the wood etc, how many passes are the sandpaper sheets good for before you have to change them?

hate to say it but abcon joints are not the best they used to be a company just abrasives i will try to find there number tomorrow did a better paper.

Brilliant Mate , a bit of à problem with wood that are pitch heavy , like BC Fir , and Pine. Thx 🇨🇦👍🏻

Thanks Andy my mate uses Mirka sandpaper for his sander so i will tell him about this to see if any cheaper
works out around £14 a sheet !

40 grit last for ages not 100% sure just how many I have another video uploading to so many passes and can see any wear at all

Great machine - I know it’s 415V but out of interest, how many amps does it draw? I only have a 20A supply but expect this is at least 32A. Cheers
I think around 20 max . you can see the Amp meter on the front panel its using 5/8 most of the time its one of the lowest out there.
