This haircut is more to work with than a bob but so much more fun and interesting. I find myself rewetting my hair between washes sometimes so that I can use the diffuser to give it some bounce. That is so sweet and I am sorry you were dealign with stress that caused hair loss. i'm glad your hair is growing back in and yes, i've experienced thinning in the crown and it is so hard to deal with but I just go with the flow and try to style it in a way that "covers up the thin spots". I've just started using Olaplex (#4 & #5) and my hair has never felt so soft and manageable. I currently have a Suave volumizing spray but will switch to the Olaplex version when it's time to order again. Your hair looks amazing, as always. I loved the bob on you, but this looks great too!

You did a great job. It’s a youthful look 😊. My hair is baby fine so I air dry it and then put some large Velcro rollers for some volume Downside is that it’s winter and I have to wear a hat to keep my head warm so my hair gets flat as a pancake 🫤

I’m new…76 years young. Going for a haircut on Monday. My hair stylist is not available til January going to someone I’ve never been to. So Monday, I may be ecstatic or tears. Either way it will grow out..slow but it will eventually grow. Wish me luck.
Update on my haircut. The appointment was noon. I got there and only one stylist, with a customer in her chair. She asked if I had an appointment which I did for noon. I always like to get to appointments a little early. She had no record of the appointment and asked if I could go back another day. I wasn’t upset but I declined the offer. So back home and I made an appointment with a different shop for Wednesday. So goes the saga of Granny’s new hairdo.
On the top, try using the round brush and d ry it the opposite direction, then when dry, take your fingers and flip your hair the direction you want it, that will create lift

That is a lot of product, although I’m aware it is often necessary as hair styles change. Just curious, how often do you have to wash your hair using that much product? I try to not wash my hair more than once or maybe twice a week. Not sure I could stand my hair using that much product and not washing my hair daily!
Hi there! Great question - I have to use that much product or my hair will flop bad. However; when I let it dry mostly curly on its own I only use a bit of gel and then spray with hairspray at the end. I wash my hair every 3rd days, so wash and style day 1, freshen it up on day 2 and day 3 start over again. I use a clarifying shampoo once a week that is amazing. Hugs to you. KC
Looks pretty but too much product for me . I only use a little hairspray. It looked lovely when it was wet it is quite curly ,have you ever let it dry naturally?
Now that it is a little shorter I do let it dry a bit curly on its own but not the bang because it is not pretty. Lol! My hair is super heavy and without product it does not play nice. Hugs, KC

Victoria, remember that when I film it takes a long time to show you all everything and to talk about it. When I do my hair it doesn't take that long and I actually enjoy the time alone in my thoughts and being creative. I do wear it curly sometimes which is basically wash and wear and just blow-dry the bangs but it is not my fav way of doing it. Hugs, KC

I’m new…76 years young. Going for a haircut on Monday. My hair stylist is not available til January going to someone I’ve never been to. So Monday, I may be ecstatic or tears. Either way it will grow out..slow but it will eventually grow. Wish me luck.

Update on my haircut. The appointment was noon. I got there and only one stylist, with a customer in her chair. She asked if I had an appointment which I did for noon. I always like to get to appointments a little early. She had no record of the appointment and asked if I could go back another day. I wasn’t upset but I declined the offer. So back home and I made an appointment with a different shop for Wednesday. So goes the saga of Granny’s new hairdo.

On the top, try using the round brush and d ry it the opposite direction, then when dry, take your fingers and flip your hair the direction you want it, that will create lift

That is a lot of product, although I’m aware it is often necessary as hair styles change. Just curious, how often do you have to wash your hair using that much product? I try to not wash my hair more than once or maybe twice a week. Not sure I could stand my hair using that much product and not washing my hair daily!
Hi there! Great question - I have to use that much product or my hair will flop bad. However; when I let it dry mostly curly on its own I only use a bit of gel and then spray with hairspray at the end. I wash my hair every 3rd days, so wash and style day 1, freshen it up on day 2 and day 3 start over again. I use a clarifying shampoo once a week that is amazing. Hugs to you. KC

Looks pretty but too much product for me . I only use a little hairspray.
It looked lovely when it was wet it is quite curly ,have you ever let it dry naturally?
Now that it is a little shorter I do let it dry a bit curly on its own but not the bang because it is not pretty. Lol! My hair is super heavy and without product it does not play nice. Hugs, KC

It seems like a lot of work to get your hair the way you want it. There must be a simpler and less time consuming method.
Victoria, remember that when I film it takes a long time to show you all everything and to talk about it. When I do my hair it doesn't take that long and I actually enjoy the time alone in my thoughts and being creative. I do wear it curly sometimes which is basically wash and wear and just blow-dry the bangs but it is not my fav way of doing it. Hugs, KC
Why does everyone have to say how old they are. Is it because by saying so, you will be liked more? It makes no sense because then it changes from listening to you to thinking about and rating you on a scale.
