    Hey guys!
Just to clarify, we travel places and vlog our time there. The bad situation highlighted in the video happened, so we're weren't going to just leave it out. Unfortunately this is a problem in India but there is no love lost between us and this crazy country. Our time here has been incredible and you get bad people everywhere. All is well ♥️

I felt that you were a bit over friendly after watching your Agra vlogs... I also told you in the comments about that... say no to the selfie requests... especially to young boys...there are two reasons they want selfies with you- first they want to boast about it afterwards to their friends...second they want a chance to come closer and touch. You will come across many such uncivilized local group of boys... don't talk to them... don't let them come near you for selfies.
      Apologies from an Indian.

Hey a small safety tip for you- If you are planning to celebrate Holi here on 21st March, then celebrate it with Yr Hotel staff or any Local family with females around, don't even think of celebrating it on streets like a local Indian, because every year a lot of enthusiastic foreigners come to India in March to celebrate Holi & they end up getting harrased by Drunk Indian men who don't know what consent is, so please avoid going on streets & celebrate it with yr hotel staff or a local family, even Indian women avoid going on to streets on Holi, Holi is a beautiful festival if You are in India celebrate it,

I hate to see some people here commenting to just say no to selfies or be aware next time! It is never someone’s fault why harassments are happening in this world! We shouldn’t live in a world where we have to always be scared/(alert) or be unfriendly because we think some stupid person will do something to us! I have been to India and I have good but mostly bad experience and would never go back again. Thanks for posting this. You shouldn’t hide anything bad that is happening on your trip because this is what makes it real and could be a great knowledge to people that are planning a trip there. I hope Amy feels better, i know it firsthand how it feels, and yes I have been to 120 countries and only experienced harassment in India. 😢

First of all .. i want to say sorry as an indian for whatever u suffered in India... I know it can give some terrible experience to somebody while travelling india.. U know its a vast country with huge population... The thing u said about selfies, u were correct there... Ignoring selfies or things that cause problems is not a solution of the problem.. Specially when u r so free spirited, true, kind and a good human being away from evil.. and when u come across such evil, such reality of the world .. we feel devastated and destroyed no matter how strong u r..
As an indian.. i respect your choice of not visiting this country..
U know India is not bad its the indians..And not indians r evil but few... I really wish u don't have to experience the same ever in ur life..

I'm so sorry you had to deal with that asshole. As you say, there are this kind of dirt-bags in all corners of the world. Please note that Indians are also tired of their shit. Let's hope you never have to confront such men ever again. If you are ever in such a situation again, PLEASE make a HUGE scene! It is necessary, and you will be amazed how many locals are going to come out to assist you. That young man needs to learn his lesson soon before he escalates (he will) and truly causes even greater harm to someone. It will help you feel more in control again, which is good for both of you. Do not feel like you are alone. You are surrounded by fellow human beings. Peace, l'il sis and bro. Stay strong, and know that you both deserve to be respected, and that this unacceptable situation does not define you. Or India.

A sad reality in India. So many suggestions to slap the perpetrator! I would be worried about drawing a huge crowd. In China, before the days of phone selfies, I was in an incident where that did happen - with three of my children it was overwhelming (a cheating taxi driver who tried to grab me accused my then 17 y/o daughter of punching him in her effort to protect me). As for selfies (real cameras) I started requesting money when my daughters got tired of it. Sorry, way too long! Glad you were able to shake it off as one of the bad realities of travel. Loving your vlog.

I had to quit traveling in other countries (well Mexico) way back in 1998 as I couldn’t enjoy myself seeing the sad/ neglected dogs there. I took a horseback ride in Cabo and the poor horses looked so bad. Seeing neglected camels would have really bothered me

I’m so sorry, Aimee. And just for people to know, it’s happened to me on the Japanese subway, in France, and in the US. It’s by no means just in India. It’s a worldwide problem. There’s a LOT of people in India, it’s a big place, and is a place that hasn’t yet successfully taught all men that NO means NO. So between more people and many men who don’t understand touching is inappropriate, it’s bound to happen. I’m so sorry. Big hugs to you (if you accept them! 😉). I hope for change with this matter around the world. 👍🏼✌🏼😘

You guys are such an amazing couple and vloggers... watching her cry made me really sad and angry. Indians need to do a lot to teach their fellow countrymen on how to behave with tourists. This is the culture which says ' atithi Devo bhava- guests are god'...and many of us try to uphold those values...but unfortunately there are many rotten Apples as well.

Thank you for your hard work! I really enjoy every video of yours. I told my friends about you because you deserve waaay more views and subs!
And I'm sorry for what happened to you Amy. That is a really shit feeling. But don't be too hard on yourself. Even the strongest women are vulnerable in such a situation and that is what some disgusting individuals try to exploit.

Although that video is already a wee older, I totally understand what you went through. To be honest, most people in India know, but like in every country there are incredibly good people and bad people...and in the middle people. :)
I didn't get touched, but I had a hard time in an airport once, because my wallet with everything in it was gone and some of the security pretended not to understand. My lesson I learned: Always ask nearby locals (specially women with a husband or family) for help, because they know better than anyone. ;)
Maybe I should make a video of what?! Let's see. Have a wonderful day you two! ♥

It's not silly and you're not being silly. Your feelings are totally valid and I'm so sorry you had that experience. As female travelers, especially as westerns we get warned about traveling because something bad can happen. We know bad things can happen anywhere but it doesn't take away the magic of the people or the places we go to. Please take care of yourself in the next few days and thanks for sharing your real experience.

I am from THE USA and have tried and same laws apply to THE UKto take a vehicle back.NO way can you UNTIL you buy a 25 year old vehicle and take it back as a antique.Make sure you make it like new as labour costs back home are expensive. Also dont forget Motor Vehicle have its ways to find out that its a newer vehicle so dont try to fool them.No emissions no seat belts and no any laws require for antique vehicles.

We're so sorry about your bad experience. As you said, this does happen in India and you guys were kind of expecting it at some point. The exact same thing happened to our Amy, and she reacted in the same way. She almost froze and then it was only later when she wished she had said something or done something. So Aimee you reacted in a normal way, you shouldn't feel stupid. Fortunately in two trips to India this has only happened to us once, so it is a minority, but generally education about treating women in India is behind the rest of the world. We watched a doc the other day, and some young men in India don't even know what a period is. When asked, they thought that menstruation was an illness! As you guys are experiencing India is amazing for so many things, we love it and it looks like you do too, so don't let one or two uneducated idiots ruin it for you. Keep up the good work!

Aimee babe I am so sorry you had to go through that! It's so so horrible! Unfortunately I (Meagan) experienced a similar situation in Pushkar as well... Three men jumped off a bike and asked for a selfie, I said yes, one man put his arm around me and pulled open my shirt and put his face down my shirt.. I immediately pushed him off of me and Justin shoved him, I stared crying and they were still trying to take a photo of me while I was crying hiding behind Justin. I felt, and still feel, SO violated, it's absolutely disgusting. But, you're a tough cookie, so hang in there! Sending you a big hug!

Hi kids, just paused this vid to say I'm so sorry for Amy, and your both so lush, but sometimes you've just got to be nasty cause some people don't listen or respect your wishes, if you've told or warned someone nicely more than once then you shouldn't feel bad about having to be so direct. thankfully most are great but there's always a few bad egg's, we found out that in Gambia loads of times, and to be honest I don't think it hurts there feeling as much as it does yours,, they don't seem to care they just move on to the next victim. Going Back to watch the rest your vid now.
