  • Terence Crawford proved Saturday night what he has assured an army of doubters for five-plus years, that he is indisputably the best welterweight in boxing.
Crawford dominated Errol Spence Jr., dropped him three times and knocked out the previously undefeated former champion in the ninth round of a Showtime Pay-Per-View main event at T-Mobile Arena. Referee Harvey Dock stopped their scheduled 12-round, 147-pound title unification fight at 2:32 of the ninth round, as Crawford hammered a bloodied, battered Spence with an array of power punches that knocked Spence all around the ring.
Spence was on his feet when the fight was stopped, but Crawford dropped him in the second round and twice during the seventh round. No prior opponent had dropped Spence in any of his first 28 professional fights.

The same thing will happen at 54. Like I kept telling everybody, size has absolutely nothing to do with what’s about to happen. Every single person was saying Errol’s size and strength would be a problem, but couldn’t say anything about what Errol would do when his “relentless pressure” comes up against Crawford’s extremely high IQ and counter punching ability. The man literally just outclassed and outperformed Spence in every single aspect of boxing. And the first response is “maybe he just needed more size. Let’s see it at 54.” No. He needs better head movement, better feet movement, a better jab, better counter punching ability, better punch selection, less predictable combinations, more speed, more quickness, more core strength, etc etc etc etc. Crawford is the far superior boxer AND puncher. That’s the simple honest truth. No pun intended.

Man are you serious right now? That’s what bud made him do. He made Spence think that he was there but he wasn’t, he made Spence off balance by his quick pivoting and countering. He punched Spence in between shots and he took his will away from him. Spence had absolutely no answers for bud, and Derrick James should have stopped that fight at the end of the 7th. Spence took too much punishment.

I think Crawford is so sure of himself that he’ll take the rematch at 154. I don’t think he will utterly destroy Spence in that rematch, but he will still win and in enough fashion that there will be absolutely no doubt. And the only reason there won’t be an utter destruction is because Spence and his camp knows they will need to make adjustments. But those adjustments will likely only reduce how bad Spence loses rather than stop the loss all together.

you must not know boxing. spence didn't loose a close fight that could have gone either way he got beat the fuck down and never had an answer, never made an adjustment, he got bullied pushed around and hurt all through the fight, he basically was never in the fight, you don't think that will forever fucc with him, the only thing he could have done different was to not show up to the fight.yall must have never had a fight in real life, cause if y'all had you know when you either totally dominated or they dominated you, it was a close fight and someone bested you or you bested them y'all would run it back but you know if you got your ass whooped , everyone saw it and everyone knew it you included then the shit was over and you may have begrudgily gave someone their props, trust me Errol don't want no more of spence, pride said lets rematch not his heart.
