My dad and I are gonna be at the fight for our shared bdays. I can't put into words how thankful I am to be able to attend. I've been an avid boxing fan since I was 3 and in 10 years, he and all the fighters we've watched have taught me to always stand for something bigger than myself and to get up after every knockdown in life. He said he's been studying Bud since Bud was at lightweight. For him to remember such a minor detail in the heat of the moment says a lot about how thoroughly he does his homework. Even Bud was like "who told him I don't like hot sauce"? Little details can add up to big advantages. Like when Tank told Ryan he was going to break his jaw and Ryan said that he was going to break Tank's jaw and Tank said "You don't even aim for the jaw. You target the temple." These fighters at this level are not basic brutes. They're master strategists and functional psychologists and this is high speed, high stakes chess. We're about to see greatness on display from both of these men.

It was a close fight until the 10th round and a fight either boxer could win at that point. For whatever reason, Oscar inexplicably let off the gas and lost the championship rounds of a fight that was very close.

I only wish the casual sports fan knew how great the fighters are, how legendary this fight is, The moment, the meaning ,the wait, not to mention we haven't had this type of fight in a long time. Man I'm so thrilled to be able to witness this, As a Die hard Boxing Fan Were in for a good one.
The "wait" is exactly why people are over it. It could've been a legendary match-up, but that ship sailed at least two years ago.
