Thank you for this video ! I was wondering, since you start by showing us the "body" of the scarf, how do you make the first sleeve, the one you didn't show on the video ?
Hi, After your finished making your first sleeve by watching what i did, you will fasten off then attach your yarn to the bottom of the scarf and repeat the same thing I did when I was making the sleeve on the video. I hope that was helpful thanks for watching 🙂
Thank you for the video and instructions! I am following this to a T and about 2 feet in. Each row I am +1 or -1 a stitch every row and I'm not sure where I am going wrong :/ any help or tips would be really appreciative!
Hi, Are you saying that your missing a stitch or have extra stitch 🤔 if so stop and look at both sides to see if your panel edge is straight, if not that means you miss a stitch or add extra Stiches.
@@creativehandsbyshay yes I either miss or add one and the edges are wonky. Even though I'm following the Suzette stitch showed in the video, chain one at the end of the row and inserting my hook in the stitch you show for the new row I am falling short or have 1. I did start with 59 chains as I wanted it a little larger but kept it an odd number as instructed. I don't know where I'm going wrong and I have to keep pulling it out to redo it a few times now!
I figured that was what was happening with you it can happen if your not familiar with the suzette stitch . Am sorry but your gonna of to pull it all out and redo it . I have a video tutorial on how to do the stitch if that can helps.
@@creativehandsbyshay I see, ok. That may be my fault as you did mention in the video about the other video that goes over the stitch more, but I'm about 2 years into crocheting now and the few, repetitive examples shown here I felt like were enough. Thank you for responding to me so quickly though! I will watch the stitch video now.
@@creativehandsbyshay You made my day when your video popped up in my feed for this sweater scarf. I have been looking for one and yours really stood out for me. Beautiful work! 💖✨
Hey, good question but personally I would not recommend using the blanket yarn to make this, as that yarn is heavier and bigger in size. I suggest using a light weight yarn. If that's what you want to use you can chain multiples of 2+1 , I chin 39 so you can try channing 29 to see if that width works for you . For the wrist it's up to you how long you want it to be . Hope this was helpful thanks for watching 🙂
Hey, to my estimation you can make the scarf 80 inches long so she will have enough length to wrapped nicely around her. I will suggest using a light weight yarn to make your your sweater . I hope this was helpful and you can also measure as you go along . Thanks for watching 🙂
Hey , I dont have a larger pattern but this pattern can be easily adjusted by following the same instructions. What you can do is make the it a bit wider by changing more for your foundation, also make the same length when u get to same length you well measure around the scarf around your body, once you get the width then you can start working on the ribbing. I encourage using an lightweight size three yarn as your scarf will be more lighter and easier to manage 😀 Hope this was helpful thanks for watching 🙂
Hi To make it fir your size all you of to do is chain with odd numbers I did 39 chain so chain about 69 and if that width works for you then you can start making your rows. I did 68 rows to make mine , to get an accurate measurement you can measure on your self as you go along. Once your scarf can wrap around your body twice then you can proceed in making the sleeve ribbing. Make sure to use a size 3 yarn so your scarf can be lighter . Hope this was helpful 🙂
Hey, Yes your right it's at 31cm if it's a bit too tight for you I will suggest chaining more and remember it has to be a add number so you can chain like 45 or 49 . Hope this was helpful thanks for watching 😃
hmm finally the sweater was only 27 cm wide, would like to make it lots wider (think it needs to be longer too in my case) but not sure how to fix the stretchy part of the sleeve then, cause that will be far too wide… 🤔
You can adjust your width and lenght long and wide as you want it to be . To make the ribbing all you of to do is decrease with sigle crochet once you get down to 38 stitch then you can start make double crochet. I hope this was helpful 🤗
Oh no am so sorry, the world of crochet this as happened to me before and when I was at the end I realized 😅 I was so mad 😅 . I hope it turns out great tho thanks for watching 🙂

What is the width to make in inches or centimeters. Length you mentioned as 65 inches.
This scarf is measured 68 inches long and 12 inches wide
How much yarn did you use? 😊
Hey, I use three skeins 354 yards on each however I did have a little yarn leftover.
Thanks for watching 🙂
Ok, thank you

How wide is the 39 stitches? Mine is about 31 cm, seems a bit too tight but not sure…
