How funny it is that we hand workers must suffer double the Summer heat, our laps covered in afghans and sweaters, in order to enjoy warmth and beautiful things in fall and winter. This is lovely and charming and will not likely give me heat stroke in it's making 😉😘💖
LOL! So true, Dana.
LOL!!!
lol
😄
So true. I live in Az. Thank goodness for ac and big fans. 😅😊
Beautiful!!! this wrap is giving me an Outlander vibe, I just love it....
I totally agree, Liz Jo. I LOVE Carrie's style and she always choses the most amazing - and AFFORDABLE yarn.
This is so pretty! I cannot wait to get started on it. Perfect for those fall days that are just chilly enough for arm coverings but not a full jacket. Thank you for sharing.
Stunning colour of yarn and a beautiful pattern. Think I'll make one for my mum. It'll help keep her warm 🥰
Hello dear friend nice to meet you ...
I’m 60% done with this sweater scarf and so excited to have it ready before the cold hits Tennessee
How fun & easy!! Thank you SOoo much Carrie!👏👏💕
Just beautiful. Looking forward to making this. Thank you for sharing.
Hi, Carrie! 😸 Lovely work. Outstanding job. Your stitches look amazing. Thank you for sharing your creations. It's appreciated 🌷👍🙏
Gefällt mir sehr gut. Eine einfache und gute Lösung um umhüllt und gewämt sich zu fühlen. ❤❤❤
I love it! I'm making it! Thanks, Carrie!
Beautiful stitch and must be so warm.
Fabulous thank you for sharing , looking forward to making this for my daughter in law
Im looking for things to crochet in fall even though it's August and this is perfect. Im pretty sure I have this same color in my yarn stash. 😊
I’m so ready to finish this sweater! Thank you!
Thank you! An ad popped up for a website selling this type of garment, but I don't love the fiber content, and I saw complaints about the single size being too small for some customers. This is exactly what I needed.
I bought some Heartland yarn (Lion Brand) last year especially to crochet this scarf but, never got around to it!….. Well, I’ve started it today. Thank you Carrie for all your designs. I love them all! :)
Beautiful!! I'm definitely going to make this! Thank you for the clear instructions. :)
Thank You Carrie....this is perfect and of course you make it so simple. This is exactly what I was talking about when I texted you a little while back..Bless You, Dear Carrie...
Such a beautiful yarn and such an easy pattern you make it so easy. Thank you
Merci beaucoup Carry. Ce sera mon premier ouvrage de cet automne. Prenez soin de vous
I needed this! Seeing this and the color makes me long for Fall even more. Not a summer gal at all. Thank you thank you, cant wait to get started!! ☺

Hello dear friend nice to meet you ,,,
Love Love Love! I have been looking for something different to make for my daughter for Christmas - this is PERFECT! Thank you!
Hello dear friend nice to meet you ,,,,
This is so beautiful 😍
I love Heartland yarn from Lion brand. It's the softest, squishy yarn that feels amazing next to your skin, Plus they have gorgeous colors to boot.
Wow where have you been all my life xx thank you for sharing xx
I enjoyed your video and I just finished this project for my daughter will see how she likes it. I’ll let you know you’re very good instructor.

I love this look! How do you wrap it/put it on?
Hello dear friend nice to meet ,,
Beautiful
Great pattern. Just starting it and looking forward to see the finished product. Suggestion for Fall - Thigh High Leg Warmers.
Tolle Anleitung. Werde ich nachstricken. Grüße aus Deutschland. ❤❤❤
This is lovely Carrie 😍 xx
Thank you xx
Could you show how it is worn? I’m a little confused.
If you don't already have them on your channel, I would recommend/request a video on leg warmers! 😊
Oh my goodness, this is PERFECT!!! I've been wanting to ACTUALLY learn how to crochet, and this project seriously PERFECT... I'm in Canada, so if I start making this one in the summer, it would be ready for our beautiful and colorful sweater weather! No need to feel reluctant to bring out any fall content, we're here for it, especially us beginners who would need a little extra time lol
LOVE the look of that SWEATER WRAP!!! Looks so stylish and expensive!!! Heck, I would even be tempted to try a cotton version of it for spring or summer as well when it gets cool, or for when I want to cover up a bit
Excellent excellent video Carrie, absolutely LOVE your channel!!!
😊❤👍
Hello dear friend nice to meet you ...
@@brownjack6535 Hello! Hope you have a wonderful day!
Yes dear friend
When you say the peace measures 72 in do you mean from the edge of the sleeve or just the middle just so I'm clear
lucky for me i have plenty of this exact yarn!
I absolutely love this sweater wrap. I am making one in a beautiful Irish jade green. Thank you for the pattern
Cant wait to finish this. Almost fish w both arms😂
Thank you so much
so nice
Thank you 💜
Hello dear friend nice to meet you ,,
Hi, love your pattern so far. I have completed the rib and started on the next bit, but mine seems to be a lot tighter. I'm using the same yarn and crochet hooks. Any advice?
Hey carrie, im a biginer i love your work its so beautiful. Can you do it in double crochet as well i hoop you can tell me thank you
Hi that's beautiful scarf looks easy and straight forward pattern to do I'm going to make mine from Bernadette from Hertfordshire
I love this, but mine seems gigantic in the sleeve and I've done everything according to the pattern. AND I'll end up using 5 skeins rather than the 3 indicated. I might frog and do over, using smaller hooks.
Is it 72 inches counting the first part done? Or just the second part?
👍❤ merci beaucoup ❤
Excelente
This is beautiful...but how will you wear this !??
Omg, I just love this. Brilliant! Would you recommend s/m for a size 12 height 5'9"? Or what size?
Just finished mine - I used a slight bulky weight Icelandic wool. It works but the 72 inches was a bit on the long side for me. So it doesn’t sit totally right but it is very warm. I did have to watch a styling video on how to wear one of these 😂 good pattern besides my modifications. I supposed it would have been smart to measure how much a scarf wraps around me first before committing fully to the 72 inches.
Where did u get the styling video? I was hoping she'd would have put it on for us. But still love it 😀
@@patricereyes6891 err… I don’t totally remember but I definitely searched UA-cam for the styling video. (Side note I switched accts haha)
Hello! I’m hoping you see this- for a 5’3” woman, would you suggest decreasing the 72” ?? And then my question is is the 72” from the first wrist ? Or just the sc x part
thanks for sharing
beutifuld thank you
I have already started the pattern, I'm following the size your doing. I'm just wondering will it fit me and the sleeves be long enough!
❤❤ LINDO ❤❤
Such a simple stitch, but I don't know why I'm struggling 😂
Hi, nice pattern. Can you tell me a bit how to connect two pieces together? It is a bit confused for me for how to wear that
Hi Carrie
Can you tell us how to make the body portion wider please
Tia
How do u put this on. It’s so cute I wanna make my own
Hi!!! This is goregous and i really want to make it!! Quick question though.... how do you put it on???? Something is not computing in my brain
I love this and want to make it. I feel silly asking but how do you wear it to look like the picture?
Love it can you make the pattern in a 7x?
So I'm trying to recreate this, is it the body part alone that measures 72 inches or the 72" includes the first part of the sleeve?
💕💕💕💕💕💕
Hey! I really want to make this but your blog isn't working for me, idk what the stitches would be for an XL
HI Carrie I am in the process of making this but not sure at the beginning where it states to chain 51 this is the length of the sleeves is this suppose to go up your whole arm? HELP
Hi! I’m working in the large, should that be 78 inches unstretched or stretched?
I love this design, do you know how i could make it a bit longer ? I really like to make a skirt with it 😊
Merci !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi- When you said to stitch until you reach 72", does that include the sleeve portion? Thank you😊
I had the same question but she's not replying. I am currently working on mine but came here to see if I could get some answers.
I’m asking myself the same question but no answers yet; I’m guessing I’ll be making it through the second sleeve , put it together and then see if I made it way too long or not, undo if I must and go from there.
I ended up including the 1st sleeve and scarf portion to 72" then made 2nd sleeve.
Hey I really love this one I want to try it but I don’t have inch measurements can anyone help me how many rows is it please??
Love it ! But I was waiting so see how its put on 🥺
Yeah, I'm making this (but with a different yarn) and it's about 60 inches so far, but I'm a bit confused too. Does it wrap around the body twice? Did you try it?
I haven’t tried yet, but I will. I just find it crazy when they go to all the trouble to make a beautiful tutorial then don’t show us the end product. I don’t understand how it wraps around.
@@annajoyhdz Agreed 😅
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hello dear friend nice to meet you ,,,
Can i use the same hook size you have used but with a dk yarn instead for a "lighter" feel to the wrap for summer?
could you use 8ply? and it so would anything happen ? or would it stay the same. making my mum one for Christmas and myself one later. thanx
very clear.
What name does this color of thread have?
Hi from Italy. I would appreciate knowing how long the wrap is without and with the arm part.
This is stunning..I'm a beginner..fir size large how many chains
Fabulous pattern, and over halfway through... I am crocheting L to XL - I definitely need 4 balls of this beautiful Lion Brand Yarn (maybe I am doing something wrong? - but I am following measurements and the great instructions). This is NOT a complaint!! - just a handy hint :-)
Hello dear friend nice to meet you ,,,
@@brownjack6535 Hi there! :-)
Well, I really must have done something wrong because I ended up using 5 balls! All measurements great and I love it. Just need the weather to cool down so that I can wear it x
Hi Carrie…I am about to start making your gorgeous sweater. What stitches did you pick up when sewing your sleeves together?
I’m wondering the same.
How should we calculate depending on our yarn and hoock ?!
Can someone please explain why do we need to separate 50 chains in the end and where does this piece goes?? Is it the second sleeve?? Please help me.
