Amsterdam Gay Men’s Chorus - Iconography [Full Show - Part 1]

Throughout queer history, music has always inspired our community and given it a voice; whether in our darkest moments and when it’s time to party. Pioneers such as Freddy Mercury, Kate Bush, and Madonna put our feelings into words, tugged at our heartstrings and shined a light on our deepest desires.
For our 2023 summer show, the 100-strong cast of the Amsterdam Gay Men’s Chorus performed at the Podium Mozaïek, Amsterdam. We took our audience on a journey through the bars, disco halls and underground clubs that have brought icons of queer culture to life, and have given us a place to be our true selves.
The summer show has become a highlight in the Amsterdam Gay Men’s Chorus’s annual calendar, attracting friends, family and allies from around the world.
