yea these vids are easy to follow, easy to under stand, he doesn't rush the vid he give people a chance to follow his lesson and the tutor speak very good English to.
Thank you so much for your hard work . This is a fantastic tutorial once you conquer the ground floor wall creation as a number of the dimensions are missing. I imported the PDF into autocad and scaled it with one of the known wall dimensions to get them accurately. I have a pdf with the missing ones if anyone needs it. Apart from that an excellent architectural lesson.
Love these videos CAD in black! Your videos are an amazing resource for me as I become more familiar with AutoCAD. As someone pointed out in the comment section, some of the dimensions are missing. It would be great if you can update the PDF file with these dimensions. Thank you so much and keep these lovely videos coming!
Greetings my friend, you are a VERY good teacher, - are you a professionel teacher ? Thank you for helping me with Autocad. THANK YOU ! First, Thank you so much for this. But maybe you made a mistake. about the staircase. from 1250mm next is 920mm not 870mm. is this part of the test? Pls. correct me if I'm wrong. really learning a lot from you.
thanks, you very much for your videos I learned a lot from you and really appreciated. I got a bit problem when I select a polyline and put the cursor on one corner and move to the right like what you said and give a proper value to it then doesn't work plz help (video 6.11)
You should first activate the command. (for example line). Then, DON'T Select the polyline; -> go to the corner without clicking, then move to the right. Hope this helps
Amazing work! Im working with Intellicad, almost everything the same. Most difficulties with finding the block creator BLOCK AUTHORING PALETTES. But can't be all easy, right :D
I was following along until I got to the arced part of the staircase and ran into a couple issues 1. What do you do if the array goes the opposite direction? I somehow got it to go the correct direction after clicking a bunch but I don't know how I did it. 2. It kept my array as one object, so it wouldn't allow me to extend the the lines unless I extended the original. I ended up just adding lines to the ends of those, but it would not let me join them afterwards. How do I correct this?
Hi Nicole! 1. When you use Polar array, at the Array panel in the ribbon there is an icon called "direction". Click on it to switch the direction of the items. 2. Here I exploded the array, to be able to extend each line separately! Hope it helps.
Nice video. When you create the texts I see that the scale goes from 1:1 to 1:100 which is the scale of the layout. Should I always change the scale to the scale of the layout when creating text ?
The scale in the model space only matters when you are creating an Annotated object. If the text is in a standard style it doesn't matter the scale. But If it is annotative, you have to draw it in the model space with the same scale of the layout! Thanks for watching.
Some polylines measure is not included in the pdf file. Especially on the first part where you cut. Kindly mention what is the exact measurement of those. Thanks a lot
@@CADinblack 4:57 the one you fast-forwarded, some dimensions are not included in the pdf file and we are having a hard time to calculate it... can we perhaps see the normal speed to have the accurate and precise measurements of the floor plan.
@@neronakyokomae3028 Have you figured out all the missing dimensions yet? If so, would you mind sharing them? I've been trying to estimate each wall for the last few hours but to no avail.
Hi. Yes, that's true. In fact my point was also to encourage the students to make some calculations. Not all the dimensions are needed as some lines just connect to others which have dimensions. However, it's possible that a couple of them are not possible to guess. Can you exactly which dimensions are you talkig about?
@@CADinblack yes I did some back calculation to figure some dimensions and tbh it's really annoying since I had to spend way too much time figuring things out instead of learning to do it

Sorry for hoping onto this comment. But I need help with this too. What’s the dimension where the small (1300) wall jutting into the lobby from the dining starts? I can’t seem to figure it out.
i know its a silly question but why do you offset the internal walls inwards, does that not give you different measurements? or do you measure the perimeter of the property and then offset external walls inwards, again i know its a brain block haha

All the internal walls have the same width. That's why I use offset. This command is useful also to make parallel lines!

why did you fast and forward at 4:57 .
