- POCO X3 PRO's using MIUI 12.5 stock or custom roms and AOSP roms using MIUI 12.5.x.x firmware are getting hardbricked killing the motherbaord.
Watch this video to downgrade to MIUI 12 as this method works on a locked bootloader too and doesnt need TWRP or computer.
Here's the warning posted in POCO X3 PRO Updates :
If you ever get this glitchy screen there's a high chance that your device is going to get hard bricked soon. The glitches usually get accompanied by system reboots or reboots to fastboot.
We still haven't determined what exactly leads to a brick. All reports so far have been from users on stock MIUI 12.5.x or MIUI 12.5.x based custom ROMs, either with locked or unlocked bootloader.
But yesterday we had the first case of a brick on AOSP too. It's probably MIUI 12.5.x firmware's fault so we suggest you to use MIUI 12.0.x if you want to use MIUI and use only 12.0.x firmware if
you're an AOSP/CAF custom ROM user.
Also, make sure to take a backup of your internal storage and your apps as soon as possible if you ever encounter these graphical glitches. You'd better take backups regularly either way just to be safe.
In case you get a hard brick, you have to visit a service center to get your motherboard replaced.

One more thing I would like to add, please make sure you use your device region specific firmware with custom roms, even though it's always recommended by the roms to use 12.5.2 global fw, make sure you always use your device region specific firmware

@@MR.FIDDLY I noticed there were lots of touch jitter and lag with global firmware on bhima devices, and now you know the hard bricking situation also, and regional firmware is always the best for the device because regional fw provides optimised network reception

in miui's game turbo, we can adjust the touch response, we can keep it low, but if I switch to custom rom, the touch response will be max by default right? thats also a reason why custom roms heat the phone right?

Bro didn't work with my Turkey miui version. I just want to go to europe global into mixm from trxm . Did all the process and downloaded fastboot file and flashed the rom but didn't want to recovery mood . It directly goes to lock screen after finishing installation. Just like rebooting my phone. Unlock your bootloader and flash a custom rom! It’s better that way. You don’t want a bricked device do you? Nowadays every custom rom has google play certified especially Corvus OS.

I am using 8 GB and my fone is down now when I went to the servicing centre they are complaining that there is crack, and they cannot replace with the quaranty so they are asking me 10000/- ten thousand which is not a small amount.

If your phone is under warranty go to service centre and explain your problem there, it will be more helpful, or install a custom ROM if service centre is of no use.
