Fools and rebels can bring death on themselves. However, life on this earth is sin cursed and not perfect. Psalm 107 shows how we can have life and how we can break addictions, heal memories, and restore broken relationships.
CRIED OUT. “Sick and feeble, unable to stand the sight of food, we drew near to the gates of death. Then we cried out.” We should never be afraid to cry to our heavenly Father.
RESCUE US. “Lord help us and rescue us and he did.” He will answer us.
HEAL US. “God spoke the words, “Be healed” and we were healed, snatching us from death.”
Over a seventeen-year period, my husband and I quoted verse 20, Be Healed, over his cancer. We saw the word in action. He continued to live and remain as pastor of our church.
REFLECT: Are you facing some form of death? Death can take many forms.
TRUTH: Jesus is the way, the truth, and the LIFE.
PRAY: Lord, I cry out, rescue, and heal me in my situation.
