Informative videos.May be you can do a video on how grid synchronisation of inverters work or what will be the consequences if a normal inverter is directly connected to grid. One more common misconception I can think about is, trying to charge one battery bank with two DC sources and then wonder why one of the chargers is not working.
Hello again Rajarshi, thank you for your valuable feedback. This channel is on Off Grid Systems, so I'm not sure whether the grid synchronization would fit in here. But your other suggestion is excellent! I will start working on this and share it with you when it is ready. Thanks Rajarshi, all the best. Jesse
Fantastic info throughout! Cheers! Do you recommend against solar and alternator charging simultaneously? I was thinking of this: Alternator to starter to dc-dc to house batteries in series, along with a solar panel to mppt to house batteries. Mppt is connected to one battery's positive and the other's negative to simultaneously charge them and equalise the charge across them while still getting alternator power... Please can you advise on this?
I am glad to hear you enjoyed the video A J Berkley, thanks for your message. Given the project you are describing, you might also benefit from the following video on charging batteries with an alternator: ua-cam.com/video/TAEzCcayI0g/v-deo.html. For personal advice, you can contact me through www.solarsolution.co/services. Enjoy! Jesse.
Can you run an electric motor off the alternator the power it’s coming from the alternator the power of the electrical motor on the other side to recoup because the alternator creates more power than that electrical motor that you’re running the alternator so you have a continuous power source without using the battery is that possible
Hi Chuck, thanks for your message. As for your question, I would like to draw your attention to the pinned comment at the top of this section. All the best, Jesse.
