I remember when this first came out and no radio station would play it yet it went straight to number one just from word on the street. Such an epic tune that was originally meant to be an instrumental but Keith wanted to put lyrics to it and the band decided to let him. probably one the most iconic songs of the 90s and early 2000s
I'm still an absolute fan of The Prodigy albums from the late 90s/early 2000s!
In fact, I've just created a musical album heavily inspired by this genre and period: ua-cam.com/video/zYNwfEzESAA/v-deo.html
I hope The Prodigy fans like it ;-)
Rest in peace Keith Flint. You left us way too early.... This track will be a reminder of your awesomeness back in the 90s. We will miss you! 😢😭

Keith you were the Firestarter! You still the Firestarter!
I remember when this first came out and no radio station would play it yet it went straight to number one just from word on the street. Such an epic tune that was originally meant to be an instrumental but Keith wanted to put lyrics to it and the band decided to let him. That decision propelled them to huge international success and the rest is history, they were at No1 for 3 weeks in the UK and in that time their whole back catalogue of singles re-charted.
Thank you for the info. Keith made this song for me back in 97. Inspirational

A perfect example of how can make a clip so stylish without using special effects. Perfection.
A paint-sniffing arsonist with a set of power tools let loose in an abandoned subway tunnel can work wonders.
Correct me if I'm wrong but everything about the song is a special effect.
