My Dad always joked about how he wanted this played at his funeral. Then in 2018 he took his own life, only a few months before Keith did the same thing. Me and my brother wanted it played at the cremation service but we got overruled (I guess it may not have been to everyone's taste!). Shame as it would have been a great way to honour his sense of humour. At least we got to play it at the wake.
Funny how the people that attended the funeral process had the last word about the music.. may ur dad Rest in Peace bro! He is in a better place i can assure u! 🙏❤️
Well your Dad didn't ask for it to be played(seriously) so I can see why you'd back down. If he really wanted it, I hope you would've told everyone to f off and if the funeral home didn't allow it, I'd blare it on the radio after everything was over.
I lost my Dad last year(illness) in July, 5 days after my birthday. He tried to take his own life(with my shotgun) months before and I stopped him. My mother did the same(but she shot herself .22 rifle, survived, died later of illness) when I was a kid. They're both in a better place. This world is doo doo. Glad I don't have kids. I'd go nuts worrying.

I'm now 58 years old and boy does this tune still stand strong today. Fat of The land is still one of the best albums ever. Back in the days we had a massive out door party at a friends country place, we had the biggest speakers ever, a very nice home made punch ;) and banged that album out all night! Warm summer evening of pure bliss.. ahh the innocence of it all

All the 90s prodigy albums are brilliant. First one is one of the 3-4 albums that introduced electronic music to the masses and into mainstream , second album is propably the most succesful album in history of electronic music, but I agree The Fat Of The Land is the most perfect technicaly , their music peeked with this album and they never were able to surpass this.

If The Prodigy just kept everything the same as it was on Jilted Generation, and Then Kieth was then brought on board as the front man, and if THEY KEPT EVERYTHING THE SAME, it would have been legendary for years and years. The attitude of that music has never been replicated.

First CD I ever bought was The Prodigy Experience. I was about 11-12. The album had wind it up, fire (sunrise) ruff in the jungle Jericho and so on. Liam Howlett is a musical genius and a gift to all music lovers.......IMHO

I was 11 when this song came out. Being from the US, not many fans of EDM at the time. This group had such a profound effect on me that, never having a computer growing up, once I got a job, I saved up and bought a computer of my own solely for creating music. Been at it ever since. RIP Flint.
