I had my first impossible burger from BK today. If no one told me it wasn't real meat it would have fooled me. The beyond burger has a definite "plant-like" flavor, and weird texture to me. The impossible burger actually feels and chews like ground beef. It's a little drier than real ground beef, but if beef stopped existing, I could handle impossible meat, even in something like tacos. I can't say the same about beyond meat, which I've been eating off and on for about a year.

To me, impossible tastes more like beef but that doesn't necessarily mean it tastes better. Beyond burgers are often more filling.
For example, the Beyond Famous Star at Carls Jr tastes better than the Impossible Whopper, but the Impossible Whopper tastes almost exactly like a normal whopper.
Overall, I prefer Impossible because the Impossible Whopper is much cheaper than other vegetarian fast food options. It also tastes very close to a normal whopper, so I do not feel like I am missing out. For these reasons, I believe Impossible accomplishes their goal of helping people avoid animal-based meat by bringing plant based meat to the masses.
