Just now I'm growing Durban Poison. Great plant genetics. 100% sativa for those who don't know prior.
Any socials ?
Thanks for sharing. Thanking all growers breeders cultivators lovers of the master plant. She breeds passion and homeostasis cb2 receptor inhibits sars2. Ganja is a medicinal treasure trove. Support your local farmers peace and love.
Not the platform but would love to find some durban seeds!
100% sativa looks nothing like that in the video it’s basically male but with a little bit more trichomes
@@jxltz6003fr , i grow 10 years And some people dont know shit
Just picked up 14gs of Acapulco Gold from my local pot shop, best strain I've smoked in like forever and the $$ was descent also. Cheers.
25yrs ago I was thinking about Ag I thought it disappeared.
Where are you located at Australia or overseas
I grew one of these. What a good smoke nice buzz. Sooner the legalise here the better.
I've had mishmicon and Mexican gold.
Now that's a name i haven't heard in a long, long time... 😅 good on you for visiting a classic in 2025! Oaxaca is another great spot to look into if you want to try some more old school goodness
เราคนปลูกจากประเทศไทย ที่รักและชอบกัญชา ❤❤❤
I've grown Hindu Kush and highly recommend it, it is very resilient and tolerated heat and cold outdoors. It ended up having a blueberry/sweetness to it, and the leaves were so caked up, I can imagine herding peoples in the mountains of Afghanistan and the Levant region growing it for hash for thousands of years
Гиндукуш моя первая и единственная любовь. Это что-то удивительное и невероятное. Этот вкус навсегда залипает в твоём мозгу. 😊 😊 😊
So I'm a 3rd generation gardener and with my states legalization my seed Bank stash has a good chance of being mostly landrace of different genes over 20 years ago miss ya paps
RIP to paps 🤘
I love when you can smell these profiles in different hybrids
This description is wrong. The cannabis untouched by human is feral cannabis, that grows in the wild. Landraces are "strains" bred and kept by local farmers in different places, acquiring characteristics (height, terpene profile and other phenotypical and chemo typical traits) that are adapted to the specific region where it was developed. These cultivars are usually ancient cultivars kept in small communities for centuries.
well they can keep that feral cannabis, we want those landrace strains
Not all landrace genetics are cultivated in their native form. Some are still indigenous wild (not feral) strains.
@@BrunoCodeman sad but true
@@IStaySt0n3d_OSRSGenetically speaking, they don't exist. It's 100% marketing BS.
I want the landracw because humans selected it. Feral might have genetics that we don't have currently though
A friend gave me Cinderella 99 x Midnight Cheese x an Argentinian landrace. Growing it now. 🌿
Bro... South Africa is well known for landraces! Durban Poison is from SA and so is Swazi Gold and many Skunks
We also have the strain Rooibaard as a landrace
Dankie bra, came to the comments to correct them, seems my fellow South African already had my back 🇿🇦🤟
Enjoying my Panama 🇵🇦 Haze as I watch this!
Cuban black haze
My condolences hate that anxiety inducing strain 🤣
Honorary mention of Cannabis Ruderalis, native to Russia, the mother strain of all autos.
I say strain because it is.
Colombia in the world of cannabis.
@@the_north_cultivates654 no it's just one of the originals that were scattered throughout the world... Thailand Buddha & true Panama Red & Afghanistan & Kush mountains & Columbian
Had some Hindu kush in Amsterdam. The nicest bud I've ever smoked. The taste was phenomenal and it was so smooth. Highly recommend
I can second this, lacanna and bluebird cafe back in the day had some and let me tell you lad it was phenomenal!
I’ve smoked “better” stuff before but the experience and the initial smoke was the peak of my time smoking
Oldest ones can be the best for sure, just depends on who grew it 👍
Yeah ❤
Some of the best bud I've ever had was from the old bags of seedy bud we got when we were kids and grew the seed and ended up with some of the terpiest bud I've ever had😅
Same to this day the best bud I ever smoked came from some Mexican brick weed. I planted about 10 seeds, got 3 females and 1 was amazing in every way. This was in 1997, and had no idea of cloning
Growers crossed all these new strains together have mucked it up.
So much crap out there… could be better…but you know, $$$$$ and all that
I came here with that same thought in mind because I'm trying to adopt the plant as an inclusion to my healing journey and I was concerned when I heard about the different issues as far as contaminants and other foreign matter being introduced to mass produced versions of the plant. There is a UA-camr that's in the industry that has a video talking about how today's strains are either watered down, non-existent, or not even remotely matched, genetically, to the original name or species. In other words, there are many companies naming different "watered down" strains that they produce where the strain names are almost "false" and do not carry benefits of the original strain that they're naming the "watered down" strain after. I hear that it's difficult to get what we are looking for unless we grow ourselves or get in contact with someone who's been in the industry for decades. The channel is called "strain show" he talks about this.💯🙏
you know nothing at all, You just repeat what you hear.Obviously there are a lot of shitty genetics, But there are many others created by people who know what they are doing. looking for the most resin producing, most bud producing and most flavorful. Balancing genetics and achieving something spectacular
@@karmmark9585theres a few that speak on it just tid bits im assuming to not tarnish their credibility speakin aginst the bigger guys producin….but i think its quite known we arent gettin the quality end of the stick with retail weed but yu said it best grow yur own! I do still tryna work out a feed routine i like with minimal ingredients
For being "mucked up" ive been getting better and better bud each year for cheaper😂😂 sounds like your old and cant hang with the new shit like any other old person or simply went to a horrible dispensary
Way better than hybrids.
Landrace is amazing!
Such as Khali (Nepal), Afghani (Hindukush), Haze (Myanmar) or their phenotypes.
But these are still produced since 8.000 BCE, just with ancient farming close to natural growth.
The original genetica of all cannbinacae, and hemp in particular, is but located in complete different areas.
Here in réunion island We have zamal, the most powerfull landrace sativa
Do you know by chance a local breeder selling them? Been looking for some beans.
Smokin Afghan Kush, good stuff.
Завидую тебе ! ! ! 😊
Landraces usually have a significantly higher yield and are ready more quickly.
Hindu kush is lovely
They can have the best varying entourage effects too
Durban is definitely a fav of mine.
Afghan kush is the bomb!
Durban Poison is one of my favorite strains, had no idea it was so important
There's next to no landraces left. The closest there is are heirloom strains.
I agree
😢😢😢😢
probably in the mountain bunkers of Switzerland or Sweden
The originals are the absolute best imo. Landrace strains taste the best too
I grew up smoking Sour Diesel Afghan Kush Durban Poison & Ghost train Haze in my high school years... definitely miss them
That ghost train can be crazy good sometimes. Actually haven't heard that name in forever lol
@ That ghost train haze run was definitely legendary & I hate that everyone forgets about that strain…ghost train & the whole Haze era was better than most of these new strains & hybrid’s we’re getting today that cookies been dropping🤦🏽♂️
Facts 👌❤white widow ak47 and northern lights,white shark,Hindu kush,golden goat,og kush and ogs and kushs period 🔥
Come to vegas I just had some ghost train last month it's still in the dispos here
@@el_digge We had some Ghost Train not too long ago out here in Denver Colorado at the dips, also I'm actually a home grower & literally just ordered some ghost train seeds to grow this summer. Honestly I have been thinking about moving to Vegas this year just because surprisingly y'all's rent is WAY cheaper than it is in Colorado💯
The only strain I’ve not smoked out of the once you mention is Acapulco Gold.
South Africa actually has Durban Poison, Rooibaard (Sativa), Transkei (sativa), Swazi Gold from Swaziland (a country within the borders of South Africa, Lesotho (also another country fully enclosed inside South Africa and what the locals call Jut (which is a weaker strain in terms of THC but very high CBD and is used mainly for a cheap high and medical purposes.
my friend does clean out jobs found some old school strains I definitely had a plant looked just like Panama red smoked it up was tasty😂❤
Japan have wild weed too bro Dosanko strain
I remember hearing about these strains. I haven’t gotten the chance to try these though. I luhv kush❤️🎄
Growing Afghan Hash Plant from Barney's Farm Breeding for seeds and dropping them EVERYWHERE with my Drone😊
I got a dream of doing this........lol. So far, my extent has been mixing the seeds into my "bird" and squirrel feeder..........lol. where they 💩.....it should start growing? :) says the palm tree growing in the trunk of my oak lol
Reminds me of an aboriginal dream buying an island and spreading seeds from aeroplane. Taking breathtaking pics of the field during sunshine, sunset beside the circling ocean water. 🥳
Stop doing this. Get pure landrace Seeds. There is nothing original from Barneys Farm
@@truthhurts361 his hearts in the right place but should definitley source better genetics.. i would try to find a mold resistant strain
Thailand 🇹🇭❤️🔥
Got 3 preaty Afgahn Kush. 2 females on is actually male. Going to get some Backup seeds
Бывает и такое случается.😊
Durban poison is from South Africa 🇿🇦, my home.
Grew a batch of Afghan Kush - cleanest high ever so sweet
Thai stick beautiful.smells a bit peppery and sweet ❤❤❤ got loads of seeds too but i aren't a grower
Love your videos keep putting them out
Yes, please. Both.
Landrace is gone, pollen travels dozens of miles easily and can hundreds. Every previous landrace has been diluted more and more in the wild by this since seed banks became a thing in the early 80’s
Picked up afghan and Hindu Kush the other week and oh my the afghan was so amazing. Top 3 strains for me 🤟
Had some old Afghan Kush seeds from some bag weed that were easily 15+ years old.
Decided to drop a few of them in spring of 2024. Was actually rather late into the growing season so wasn’t expecting much in terms of yield. Plant vegged from late June til around August 1st when it first was showing signs of preflower stretch and its first pistils.
By Mid August it was fully into flower and flowered in my Northeastern region all the way up until harvest day which was October 26th.
Cut plant down whole and after 10 days drying in a regulated tent with 50-60% humidity and 50-60 degrees Fahrenheit consistently it was dry enough to cut away all the fan leaves and then bucked down into smaller buds for curing.
Cured in mason jars for 5 weeks. Cure started around after first week of November and was fully cured and ready for consumption by end of December.
Have been smoking on 6 ounces of fully cured, homegrown organic goodness. Stuff is so sticky even after curing for 6 weeks that it’s almost a pain in the ass to grind it up in a grinder.
Good problems to have I guess 😂🤣
When you say cured In mason jars did you just put heaps of buds in the jar sealed you didn't put anything else in the jars just the buds what does it do for the bud after 5 weeks
Where are you located at Australia or overseas
Its pretty much impossible these days to have a true pure land race strain. Starting with strain hunters seeds are now sent all over the world and grown, sometimes they are males that end up spreading polling and creating new wild crosses over generations and over time changing the landrace.
In the Balkans, 50 years ago, the ruderaliss cannabis grew on its own, the seeds were used for pet birds, and the peasants used the rest for rope and linen. It's gone from the wild.
Cannabis is not indigenous to South America, therefore, Columbia is not a Landrace strain, it came from Spain
Glad to have managed to try Durban poison in Italy it was amazing
Durban is a landrace but Durban poison is not it's a hybrid.
A.K.A KwaZulu - spot on.
Killamanjaro strain has to be my favorite by far. So fucking hard to grow where i am, its humid asf here
Smoking on OG Kush right now may everyone’s jars and bags stay full
Big Bang is by far my fav strain but its a Hybrid, the smell, the kick, the Taste Nr.1 !!
Over 20 strains 3 Bros in Holland and we all just smoke the Big Bang 😍
Not landrace but I always wanted to try crossing Skunk #1 X GG#4 or Sour Diesel X Skunk #1.
Jah bless, in Colombia there is the punto rojo, is so nuts that in a little town from a random lady of a local market who sold plants had a big cannabis plant of this strain just there and it was this great insane flower that literally smelled and tasted as mango xd
Una vez fume unas mohan Thai de un chabón que cultiva super bien y recién me entero que es una genética landrace
When i can get back to it this is going to be a career for sure
I just started growing my first grow is some afghan kush‼️
What about Mexico I will see it growing wild there on the streets and on the side of street and hwys
One of the best landrace strain found in philippines they called lagkitan
Man I just want the original Purple haze from the mid 2000’s. No purp I’ve smoked since about 2009 has had that same flavor and punch
Berkebun itu menyenangkan 😊❤
The reality is most landraces now are hybrids to some degree. Very few have been kept "pure" from not isolating the crop from the other random strains people in the area grow. The pollen can potentially travel for kilo's if not miles.
Genetic testing shows the profiles for most sativas and indicas across the board, have almost identical traits and effects despite their supposed opposition.
people now a days dont even know how good it whas back in the day compared to now its like okay not bad not good.... we need to bring the land races back to where it whas back in the day
I was there back in the day and there is zero comparison between the hybrids today to the older strains. Rather grow some lowrider than a "landrace"
That’s beautiful bro
10/10 content
This cake is lost that Durban poison is hybrid😂😂
Shout out Afghan kush
Best video ever
Haven’t heard those names in a minute maybe I should grow a Durban poison
All the land race strains i grow have names like "syrian" "peshewar valley" "uzbekistani" etc.
In PH we have kibungan/baguio gold. But i think it's not pure landrace anymore.
Ak automatico from narcos seeds is good because there is colombian, mexican, thai and Afghan in it. Its so good
😮 👍!!!
Durban Poison Man that that " name " still gets me going 2 this daY rose 🌹 11 g 13? 😊
I’ve grown Durban poison, that shit epic!
Can you do a short about the Black African Magic(BAM) landrace strain please
And there are exotic landraces like the Congolese and Philippine landrace
The accent british of the narrator of stanley parable

Is afghani the same as afghan kush?

Bring Back The Old School Strains!
It's all in USA?
There’s a Market flood of Thai coming into Bradford
Love Durban Poison lol
I am based in Jamaica, how do I get even a dozen single female seeds? Two of each strain seeds will be monumental to my research!!! And I will be willing to pay to get them to America or uk
London seed centre 👌
there are a bunch of differet seed companies that will ship all over the world. and they are discret af too. I almost threw out the packaging when i orderd and it came from amsterdam. (looked like a post card. a thick post card, thats it. i ripped it up to throw it away andwas pissed, but then found the seeds in it)
I live in Jamaica how can I get six of these strain hear
