I really don't like the digital stuff. We are all entitled to our opinion. On some YT channels if you say you don't like digital (especially DRM) some of the guys will attack you and say "you're not moving along and you're being left behind!!" As long as there's plain Jane analog I'll stick around. I don't even like Echolink or anything that goes through the internet. Seems to me your a "Internet Operator" more than a "Ham Radio Operator or about equal. None us have to follow along with the newer stuff if we don't want to. It's our business but please don't attack us. We can be "left behind" if we want to. Why should you care, you can do your digi stuff if you want and I won't attack you. Seems like a lot of folks are having tremendous fun with that did stuff so that's great!.
@@eugenecbell It wasn't framed well but it meant to be constructive. One of the major problems with the Ham community, ironically, is the ability to communicate well. This is an interesting hobby but nobody would know it based on the majority of presentations I have seen on the subject. I am not sure if I can agree with he "fun" part of this preso.
I just got My Yeasu FT5D yesterday! I use it with My Open Spot 4 for All Ham Radio Digital Modes!
I learned a lot from this. Thanks for the presentation and thanks to the PRA for sharing it.
Great information , thanks so much for sharing
Is their anything I can do to make the ft 5dr or ft 70dr receive P25 public service bands?
So Im at the 19 minute mark and he is throwing around all these terms and has done nothing to explain any of them. Adding to the confusion.
Does Yaesu have Wires-X software for the Mac OS platform?
This was super helpful. TY!
Poor presentation! Not very well thought out and it's disorganized.
When Elizabeth came on I thought she looked like a girl that popped into a Tank radio video from Hamvention the other day. Might be but who knows
With Fusion You can even Send Pictures unlike DMR,
Pdf file...damaged or corrupted.
Audio is not in sync with video
All I wanted was to hear an audio demo. Not fun
Wow that guy Bill needs to buck his act up. I got bored with the presentation within 5 minutes and moved on. Sorry but it’s the truth.

Could not take this guy..
So just pass it by, why add a negative comment?
@Anung Un Rama,
I gave my sage advice.
You’re welcome.
I make no apologies, here.
