I highly doubt he cast it away with "no further thought". Just because you disagree, doesn't mean you should have a little temper tantrum over the internet. This song is a lot more chilled, and not everybody is into that. Don't make the assumption that he wants enormous drops and things of the sought. Especially seeing as how he likes the original, and the original is fairly chill too.

This is amazing, I don't know where all these other plebs are coming from. Larse has reinvented Feed Me's great song and taken it in a completely new direction and it seems like people just cant deal with such a radical change, Larse is a very talented producer, just like Feed Me, they just do different genres.
its 2021 and i still love this song.
There are so many styles and genres out there. Just because this one isn't the crazy complex style most people expect in today's modern electronic music doesn't mean this producer is lazy. You don't know the amount of work that goes into making all the sounds, mixing the drums, everything takes hours, days, weeks. There is a lot of effort in this.

Too fucking right! It's harder to have less in a track because it comes under more scrutiny. When a track is faster and more complex it is harder to pull apart and recognise sub par elements.

i like minimal/progressive house, but i still feel like this could use a bit more, for a lot of the song, its just the drums and the simple bass tune. I like when the higher pitched melody come in though.

But I think some of you should open your mind a bit more to this type of genre.
This is way more then a repeated, boring track. It all about the GROOVE.
Listen to all the little parts added in, and effects and synths striking a note maybe only once though out the all entire track.
How the Bass comes in at 1:42. Just the little touches and details make it a beautiful track.

I'm all up for minimalism, I love Minimal, tech & deep house; this is a good remix, but it's nothing special. there is still a skill into make minimal groove and roll per say. but I can't quite see it in this one...JUST MY OPINION NO HATERS...Apologies if this deeply offends anyone...
