Thanks for this info. I was under the impression that if i get 32-35 km's in city riding (res to res calculation) I am getting less average. From your video it is clear that in city heavy traffic it is not possible to get 40kms average as claimed by many riders. However on highway I even got 43-44km's when my Thunderbird 350 was new.
I think full tank to full tank or reserve to reserve method is better. Just fill the tank to near full, ride few 100 kms and fill again. Check how many kms you have run and how much you have filled again. Well, this is very accurate for a given one litre but taking average over several litres is good too provided your riding conditions remain same between fillings. Thanks for your efforts, keep inspiring us.
Great job bro... you are helping us... everyone is blaming you for throwing bottle on road.. Don't worry, people are like this never find positive thing from anyone. You did a lot of good thing, like good information, but they couldn't see that
Hi Guys , Mine is a TB350- Aug 2016. I am getting a mileage of 51 kmpl . On premium petrol I am getting about 53. I am a solo rider. I commutes 62 km daily in normal to less avrg traffic. I am from Kerala. My normal speed is 60 kmph. when I throttle at higher speeds than 60 kmph mileage reduces to 46 kmpl. In Kerala roads touching 80 kmph gives not much advantage in time. So I prefer to continue below 60 kmph. That's good for mileage and for the TB.
jay deep Yes Jay, I think it's because my TB travels a long distance in a single go and that too not in city traffic. I don't take it for repeated short distance rides. Also the speed is important. Better to go at 55-60kmph avoiding unnecessary acceleration. I clean and lube the chain every 500 km. Now it's 8000km on the odo. The recent mileage I got is 49kmpl. Most of my friends get about 43-45kmpl on their REs . I check the mileage by reserve to reserve basis.
jay deep All the best friend. Not only for mileage, from safety aspect also below 60kmph is good unless you are on a 4 lane highway. Because in our roads at any time anyone may jump into our front. All REs are little low on their braking performance. However TB with twin discs is a boon. Always remember to apply both brakes together and rely front brake more. There is a great chance of skidding if applying rear brake alone.
That's great bro My TB350 when driven below 2500 Rpm in heavy to moderate city traffic is giving me 38 km/pL in 4th gear at 35 to 50 kmph. On highway while ridden below 3000 rpm its giving me 42 km/PL When ridden between 60 to 75 Kmph
Very good and unique way to test fuel efficiency......one request can you make a video on precautions, care and maintenance to be taken to keep good mileage.
I just bought a Thunderbird 350 stone. For how many km should I do the run in ??? . And how to properly do the run in ???. That glove you have looks cool , where can I get one like that.
Awesome bro. A clean empty tank and then testing mileage. Wow. Appreciate your effort. Wonder if there are some suggestions or tips reduce the handle bar vibration in bullet. Thanks
The reason there was a huge difference between city and highway bcs... they drained petrol in initially while testing in city but not in highway.... so there will be some part of petrol left over in tank bottom..
Thanks for such a excellent informative video on mileage ..keep it on buddy do you face vibration issues on your tbts350? ?upto which speed there is no vibration? ?
I put 7 ltr petrol in my TB 350 (3 year old bike) last week and got 43.5 km mileage in chandigarh local. I have checked the mileage in different quantity of petrol i.e. 3, 5, and this tym 7 ltr. Next time i will chk the mileage with 9 ltr petrol. I suggest to all dont cross the rpm above 2.5 or 65 kmph
friend if we fix an shark exhaust in tb350 means then our mileage will getting down or not?.if mileage is decreased means how much kms it will be reduced..
I saw..u threw the 2nd bottle beside the road after pouring petrol...don't do it man...it's bad

superb...very Informative video which no one was concernd to do...very helpful...hope your channel grows big.
From Newport Beach,California. U.S.A....👍🏽...👏🏼...😎.
I think it actually gave 33.4 kmph in city. and 42.2 kmph on highway. to be very exact. along with a pillion rider. that is pretty decent. Good one.
Vinayak Hegde you are damn right
my new bird gave 33 KMS exactly in city
Anyone watching in 2024??. Just a reminder of petrol price those days.. you still have the bike??
bhai kaafi mehnat kiye ho ......like to banta hai
Good Job! but next time please throw bottle in dustbin or keep it with you instead of throwing it road side. (at 7:33)

Thanks alot mate. Keep encouraging and keep watching.
Yes sir, tank full to tank method is always reliable. The method used in this video is fault. I assume, city mileage is faulty.
Great job bro... you are helping us... everyone is blaming you for throwing bottle on road.. Don't worry, people are like this never find positive thing from anyone. You did a lot of good thing, like good information, but they couldn't see that
shamseer muhammed Thanks brother. Ya I did a mistake of throwing the bottle on the road I really regret it.
