Absolutely brilliant. Without your video I would never have found this. It is what happens in one's imagination, whether it emerges or not and here its emergence is unforgettable.
Thanks for sharing Graeme. It's funny you mentioned Crewdson, that was my first thought when I looked at the images. Great artist, definitely a candidate for the Hasselblad Foundation Award one day.
Thanks for sharing this. Like she says “This isn’t ‘photography’” it’s using photography to craft a fantastical image, and I’m quite fascinated by them.
Great work - thank you for presenting another photographer I didn't know about! Everything clicked into place when she said it was about the absence of adults, not about the children.
I shared this with my family. The creatives will love it and they will identify with bringing up themselves which they constantly remind me of😩brilliant work
very interest! the minimal and even lack of shadows really reminds me of Alex Colville, the best way I can put it when I see this work is whimsical. Her eye for composition is really good.
I find her work interesting. Reminds me more of Hockney in terms of colour palette, although I get the David Lynch reference. Can't say that I'd hang one on the wall though even though I do quite like collage, maybe its too subtle for me, a bit too polished, Stepford Wives meets Lord of the Flies.
Most of these pictures disturb me, they look so weird and soulless. It's like some AI took some random pictures and photoshopped them together. Maybe I just don't get it.
Love her work.. so creative.. I watched this video 5 times.. thanks for sharing this.
Many thanks. I'm glad it resonated.
that's the second time you've introduced me to someone I'd never heard of that deeply resonates with my own photographic journey. Thank you

I also find them disturbing and moving.

Your range of interests is a pleasure!

Hi I didn't know Alex Colville's work, but had a look. I think that you are right - a very similar aesthetic.
She's among my favorites! Great video Graeme
Excellent story with beautiful

Wonderful! Thanks so much- have just subscribed and can’t wait to see the rest of your content features. 🌻
Another thanks for introducing me to yet another artist I haven’t heard about previously.
I love what she's doing. Good for her.
Excellent. Thanks again.
I had NOT seen her work. Thank you.
Wonderful video! ❤ More female photographers please!!!
Her work looks like avant-garde pop-art.

Hi iain Yes, that probably sums it up well.
chapeau
I dont like the magazine like aesthetic but thanks for sharing.
Glad she's doing all that Photoshop work, and equally glad I'm not.

Maybe I just don't get it.
Photoshop bullshit
