The battle is very debatable man one of the best battles I have ever seen period. Good mics, the crowd was into but not overwhelming the flow of the battle. One of the best !!!!!
Battle rap is an extremely opinionated subject. Everyone has what they like and what they don't. I have been into battle rap long before leagues came about. This was just a one round match but they brought their A game. They had the crowd engaged and they crowd treated both correct if they had solid punches and or delivery. I didn't have to strain to hear words , mics were clear and every 4 bars the mc wasn't on the mic saying "calm down" it wasn't interrupted a DJ throwing their slogan out. Would I put this over JC vs. Chilla um hell no. K- Shine had probably one of the best 1st rounds ever against Tsu Suff. Big T is a good lyricist but his delivery for 3 rds is not always sharp enough. Head Ice vs Swave was good not one of the best. Most Battles i mentioned have been URL which a lot of top tier rapper came from the Lions Den. Now Conceited has great punches but has fallen off,Jon Jon was good for a little but his act got old quick, Hollow might be the most overrated to me. Mook since the new breeds have come out he doesn't have as good punches as he did back in the day because competition is far better then when he battled Jae Millz and when E Ness battled Hollow Man. Same reason Reed Dollaz never came came competition is far too strong. I watched Quest Mcody battle before youtube was invented, back before Cassidy vs Freeway.....Battles where MC's choke or it's a 3-0 can never rank top for me. I like battles that are close. Me liking this battle as one of the best I have seen doesn't mean I'm new to this. It's just an opinion everyone has one they will not always be the same.
