The Blue Room is the best venue in battle rap. Period. Because everything is the same color, there’s no distractions, you can hear and focus on every word. Also because of how close the crowd is to the battle rappers you can also hear little background conversations during the reactions. ARP and Avocado (and everyone else involved) have created easily the perfect battleground to capture the essence of the battle culture for the hardcore and casual battle rap fan. Salute 🫡

Bigg K really has reached a new level. His angle punches and schemes are so smooth you really can miss it if you aren't paying attention. He'll always be labeled as a puncher because his punches are so heavy, but he does a lot more than just punch now... Champion Of The Year, Virginia shit

I feel like that’s true for a lot of the ppl who get categorized as punchers. Ppl like K , Nitty, Lyt, Fonz, Ill Will, when they punching it’s usually not JUST punching. Either the level of lyricism is impressive or it’s part of a scheme or all of it is layered material. So some ppl only get one of the punches the first time around, and they miss the 2nd and 3rd layer of it, as well as things like them also being able to keep a rhyme scheme, and rhyming multiple syllables not just 2 at a time. A lot of ppl completely missed how Days rounds against Roc were a scheme about the Big Bang theory. He spoke on the creation of the universe and touched on evolution theory and all that some ppl got from It was the name flips.
@bazar2021 Yeah, I agree for sure. I just think Bigg K gets labeled as a simple puncher even now when he's evolved a lot over the years. A lot of the people you named get labeled punchers but they also get credit for having good pens and I never hear people say that about K. He might not be as intricate and layered as someone like Lyt but his pen definitely gets slept on. The old Bigg K was just a heavy puncher but he's become more of an angle puncher now and he even ties his setups into his punches now and sometimes even hides a scheme in it too. I think people are so used to just waiting for the punch with Bigg K they miss a lot of the shit he's doing. When he's 100 percent locked in he has a style that's very hard to beat.

Yung Ill had the best round of the battle but K was more consistent. Yung's first round started strong but had some filler lines and his second was weak, but his third was ridiculous. K's first was dope, second was so-so but better than Ill's, and his third was dope. K 2-1. Salute to both of them for a great battle.

Young ill had three fire rounds and he had a real life angle performance with vengeance. He just simply must get his props for being on a higher level in a battle yet still talking real life while bigg K spitting that fire as well all 3 rounds. This is a Classic with no loser and two flawless performances.
