Inspirational - this makes me want to carve out some time to take a drive and record it as well. Love the area - spent several years there for school a while back and drove those same routes countless times. I definitely miss the beach and the mountains being accessible in close proximity.
Finally! A video with nicely recorded classic V8 sounds, well filmed beautiful car, and calming, quite long drive through picturesque areas. Congrats and thanks! Usually on YT it is either nice car/sound and some 5 min. drive, or a long drive through cool areas with no car visible, engine almost non-audible - just street/road hum. Sorry to ask - anybody knows more similar long drive videos to to those on this channel?
Thanks for that! It validates the idea for me. I had my doubts on whether people would have the patience for a long video of just driving around, but if I did it well, it could work.
Cheapest V8 anything you’re getting is a Crown Vic or Grand Marquis. I have a 2010 crown Vic police interceptor and I love it. Just make sure you take it to a mechanic you can trust before buying one, make sure it was maintained and not abused too hard.
Nice you see (and hear) a new video from you! Your older videos were a great inspiration for me to get a Zoom H-5, I've been practicing recording but haven't still gotten anything release worthy. This hobby gets expensive fast.
Thanks! Yep it can get expensive. It all depends on whether you plan on using it enough. I like doing stuff like this, but always have doubts of whether it's worth it... spent way too long making this video and still think, who's going to want to watch a 27 minute video of just driving around? But looking at it as a hobby is probably the best way to justify it. If you're having a good time, then it's all good.
@@AndrewDoesCarStuff Yes, you definetely have to enjoy doing it! I put this video on my second monitor while I was working and it did for great backround noise and visuals.
I owned a 68 cougar for 28 years. It was my favorite vintage car. Power comfort 3 speed 289. Gold with a black vinyl top. Thank you for sharing
I'm a die-hard Chevy and Buick man, but '68 Merc Cougar is my favorite Ford! 428 w/4spd would be my dream car. One of them anyway!
I've gotten to drive a couple of big-block Cougars (although they were automatics) and can attest that they are fun beasts!
That was one sweet ride, Andrew! Loved it! 😊

Yes finally, I'm still watching the adds but I know this will be a good one😂

Andrew, She sounds great, like the classy car she is should. Nice scenery too.
Thanks Neil!

Love the Cougar, love the Miata…looking forward to seeing both in the future!
This thing is mint!
Love the rumble of a good ole american v8. Nice vid, sweet car.
Thanks!
I need a V8 in my life...
I recommend it!

Is this Vinewood?
I had to google that...
Would be nice to see, the car .🙄
Sometime I may do a full story and overview of the car, because it is quite a story! Good idea.
