Father majdi

There is a humanitarian crisis in Lebanon that the world has forgotten about. The causes are many and there is plenty of blame to go around. But I want to focus on immediate relief. There are homeless children roaming the streets of Lebanon trying to survive. They have suffered unimaginable abuse and neglect. I experienced it in person when I last visited Lebanon. I couldn’t look away, neither could Father Majdi ( / abounamajdiallawi ) who created a shelter for everyone in need, especially children and the mentally disabled.
One of the missions of ACT For Lebanon USA (ACT www.actforleban... ), a 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization, is to support humanitarian needs in Lebanon. As a supporter and a board member of ACT, I visited the camp of Father Majdi last year and witnessed in person the amazing work he is doing. He is an incredible person who is making a big difference with very few resources. I am proud to support his work. I can assure you that Father Majdi helps everyone in need, regardless of religion or ethnic background.
I will visit Father Majdi’s camp for the homeless children again the first week of November. For my birthday, I want to present him with a $10,000 check to help him continue the work he is doing.
