Never heard of craft tex before, it looks fabulous for a flexible journal cover like this one. Going to have to buy some now. Amanda, you're such an enabler lol
It is brilliant stuff ... bit tricky to get used to but if you take your time you an treat it just like card x
I never heard of Kraft-tex, and I've been paper crafting for 30 years lol! But it took me like 15 minutes to find someone and order it because it looks indestructible in your video! I'm excited to try making a journal like you have made! I need to finish my paper bag journal that I'm filling right now, but this be my next project. PS I absolutely love your accent and I love your laugh. Your laugh is just heartwarming😊
Thank you Melodie I hope you enjoy making your journal xx Amanda

I love the concept of the idea ephemera journal. I don’t sew and I don’t use craft Tex so it is interesting to see it used. I love all the ephemera you are making.
Thank you xxx

Love this!
Thank you x
❤❤❤!
Hi could you tell me the size of your signatures so I know what the height of the papers have to be? I cannot wait to make my one👏🏻, love watching your videos.💕
The height of my signatures are simply the height of my paper once folded in half to make a page .. I use A4 paper so once folded in half along the longest side and I trim by borders as my printer does not do border less they end up around 8 inches high by around 5 1/2 inches wide. I always make my covers 8 1/2 x 6 inches wide for a standard journal X
Ok thank you so much😊
I LOVE VINTAGE !!!!
Me too x
Those types of books and papers are few and far between here in Calgary, Canada and if you can find them they are not cheap. If you have time you need to purchase some extras and sell them on your site. I know postage can be expensive but if it the only way to get them I am willing to pay.
Aww such a shame you can't get them .. I do share some digitalised versions of vintage things I will upload some more for free when I have time x
Hi Amanda where do you buy your Kraft-Tex from? I am find it difficult to locate.x
I left a link on a video I did about using kraft tex.. you can get it on Amazon and Ebay too. A good haberdashery shop or online site will sell it. To find it I simply Googled kraft Tex sellers in Uk.. and looked what came up x
What to use if you don't have Kraftex or cannot afford to buy?
anything.. fabric, cardstock,, large pape rbags, large envelopes.. cereal boxes.. You can make a journal cover out of anything xx
