- Diablo 4 is fast approaching, but still not soon enough for fans eager to jump into hell. For those of you patiently waiting, here are 6 alternatives to play while you wait for Blizzard's next RPG.

I'm glad Grim Dawn is on the list, but the footage for the video makes me a little sad since it's just Act 1-ish level. The endgame has Shattered Realm, Nemesis bosses, Faction farming, Secret super bosses, and the overwhelming desire to make more builds since the class system is all about combining 2. It's a really amazing game, just remember the first couple levels are not indicative of the whole experience. :)

Last epoch is amazing. When you finally get a build going it's very satisfying.
The loot system not so much amazing however.
Lat epoch is terrible. There is no variety and the loot is abysmal.

Gearing is awesome with the innovative legendary system, which combines unique and "normal" exalted items.
Warhammer 40k Inquisitor Martyr is a top tier ARPG too for people looking
Been addicted to Last Epoch for the last 2 weeks to scratch that itch. Its great
Grim Dawn is such a gem! Been playing it for hundreds of hours and still find new builds and multiclass options I'm excited to try!
Kind of but to be honest after Diablo 4 combat feels boring

@Max settings 60+fps 1440p pc gamer On depth and build variety ? very likely yes, but as was mentioned before the combat is much simpler. And you can trust me GD is my all time favourite arpg and this remains a fact until something else prove to remain entertaining for more than 5 years as GD did.

Warhammer: Chaosbane is another excellent option. It’s included for free with PS Plus Extra. I’m not sure about Game Pass.

Grim Dawn is fantastic! So many classes and options to play.
It's an awesome game, and has a true build variety, so not only you can build literally thousands of different characters, but all of them will be viable and different, which is one hell of an achievement for a skill/item system if you ask me.
Grim Dawn is great if you want a more casual solo gameplay. It's large open world where you can just experience the story campaign, explore the zones, and not feel like you need to rush to end game. It's also one that allows modding too. The Reign of Terror mod is the entire Diablo 2 world merged with the GD items/system/classes.
Grim Dawn actually best ARPG in this moment. They didn't even mention half of the game's benefits, like strong storyline, many secrets, story-affecting choices, many different ways to improve a build and etc. And no really need boring grind like PoE, in endgame story still continue, going deeper. And they still update game time to time. You just should try, and remember - on Absolute difficulty everything just starting.
It;s a great game but the 2006 dated graphics and combat are holding it back a little.
Uhh no. Diablo IV is, after that path of exile then lost ark. There’s a reason why Grim Dawn is niche
Grim Dawn is for sure one of the best on this list! Last Epoch evolving pretty nice as well. POE is always great in general, but not what I'd suggest for more casual folks to get into :)

Recently made an enchant bow sorc doing 23k dmg. Haven't had this much fun in a while lol.
It's def better than D4 but it's no PoE unless you've only got console.
IGN never puts timestamps, but generally, like 90% of the time, someone would put it in the comments instead of the channel. still, there never is. do the channel owners remove them or someone just doesn't put it?

POE is actually a really great game got into it because of Diablo. I’ve never played a ARPG with so much content.
I'm thinking about trying Tiny Tina in Borderlands or something. What do you think?

id argue that POE is NOT a game to play for a few weeks while waiting for D4, the learning curve alone wont allow that. POE is for the POE dedicated. imo

Grim dawn is the best game on the list for me tbh complex, but easy to understand.
There is a secret 7th option - Project Diablo 2. The best Diablo experience on the market at the moment for free. You only need to have/buy the original Diablo 2 + LoD key (not Diablo 2 Resurrected). A new season just started.
Um. How did you not talk about V-Rising?!
Wait you mentioned the meh Diablo 3 but didn’t mention Diablo 2 resurrected?! Lol. Lots of D4 testers still see D2R as better than D4. It’s a classic and a new season was just announced (May 4). It’s also newer than D3… the resurrected version at least.
The best game to play while waiting for Diablo Four is Diablo Four Server slam May 12th-14th starting at 12pm pst. With early download available on May 10th 12pm. The twist this time is instead of 25 the cap is lowered to 20 so you will have to beat the world boss without an ultimate. World boss is May 13 starting at 9 a.m. PDT and every 3 hours thereafter until the final spawn on May 14 at 9 a.m. PDT You earn a server slam exclusive Trophy thats displayed on your Mount for downing the world boss. Hope to see you in sanctuary.

Lost Ark ARPG is basically only in chaos dungeons...
It has nothing to do with ARPG aspect, every activity (beside chaos dungeon which is extremely boring end game activity) is done once and never again.
You can bascially only do Raiding every week and horizontal progression.
If you like ARPG's do not play Lost Ark. Play PoE, its amazing.
Problem is, for most people, PoE is way too complex.

Path of Exile, Last Epoch and especially Grim Dawn, yes. But Lost Ark, Superfuse and Diablo 3, please no. Switch those last 3 for Titan Quest, Torchlight 2 and Diablo 2 Resurrected.
