The bottom and the top front of ur braids are actually considered individuals *only because ur braid size matches the base.* The ones in the middle are considered box braids because the box can be seen and its bigger than the base. Well at least these braids are not glued or tied to her natural hair. I am from the old school back in the 60's and 70's. Back then and a few of us today braided our own hair in micro braids no matter how short or long the hair was and watched it grow. I am 65 years old. We got called Buckwheat back then if you had more than 5 braids in your head. My group of "Say It Loud I'm Black and I'm Proud" didn't care about the Buckwheat nonsense. However I was not against weaved hair until I saw what it did to the scalps of millions of Black women. But in this video this young lady can wash her hair every 2 weeks and put moisturizer and condition to her scalp. You should read some of the comments I have posted about videos telling women they haven't washed their hair in 4 months. I flipped on them in a nice way. I haven't seen natural micro braids in decades. I braided my hair in micros 8 months ago and women with glued or sown in weaves are asking me how did I do this. This video needs to be seen by everybody who wants a safe way to make your hair longer other than letting it grow on it's own with your natural hair. My braids have caught the attention of a lot of young people who have damaged their hair. Braid your own hair and take care of it. Thanks for this video..
