Just picked up the mc9 this past Thursday and my very first firearm turning 21. Super excited to start my conceal carry journey. Haven’t shot it since I’ve been very busy for work but going to run 100 rounds this Friday. So far nothing but big smiles from me knowing I picked the best option.
I got my MC9 at launch in March'23 and have 17.5k rounds down the pipe now. Zero issues except - the mag springs wore out around 15k rounds heh. Failed to feed with the rounds nose diving the feed ramp, but replacing the mags brought it back to 100%. I put a dual port disruptive defense compensator on mine, and it is now the flatest gun ive ever shot. I can shoot less than quarter second splits and still be on target. ITS NUTS. I don't really even shoot any of my other guns now. Poor other guns 😢
Wow wish I could say the same. First one was so bad every other round the slide wouldn’t go into battery. Canik sent me a brand new one and still have out of battery. Great customer service and I like the gun but wtf
I've had a mc9 for a few months. Only issue I had was a factory issue the recoil spring had overlapped at the end and was causing feed issues and would keep the slide racked back. All I did was lay the coils down flat and into place and so far so good.
I’ve had my MC9 since January 2024. The only issues I have had with it has been ammo related. I only shoot the cheapest remain brass rounds I can find online so who knows what QA was involved but that being said unless the brass hasn’t been refitted properly ( occasionally the diameter of the brass will jam in the throat of the barrel ) it eats it up no worries.
Just pick mine up 7/24. Cleaned it Fired it first time in august about 350rds. Impressed with accuracy and not as jumpy as I anticipated but failed to return to battery about 8 times with 3 different mags and assorted ammo weights. Trying a new recoil spring next session out. Really want this gun to work reliably, but probably stick to carrying my others untill...
Have had mine for about a year now and had troubles with it stovepiping the ammo onto the feed ramp. They sent me a new recoil spring and so far not many issues. I think just a couple of failure to feeds but I think that might be the ammo on that one . haven't gotten to 1000 rounds quite yet but will go again soon and check for that. other than that it has been great. I like it alot
Well I ended up sending it to century arms and they put a new recoil spring in it again and this time changed the barrel with a different feed ramp,,,a little bit over 100 rounds and nothing so far,, hopefully it's fixed now
Not sure if anybody talks about this anywhere, but the holster that comes in the kit is it reversible for left-handers!!! I’m pretty excited about this being added to the California roster last week and thinking about picking one up 😎👍
I have been on the hunt for the best Holster for my MC9… I have bought MAAANY. Best I have found is either Muddy River Tactical or DNZ Holsters on Etsy surprisingly. Hope it helps!

I had the same issue with it when it first came out, Canik sent me a new recoil spring 5000 rounds through it with no issues
@@manueldominguez4009 I haven’t shot that mc9 again. I need to run more rounds through it. I ran 150 rounds and had 5-6 out of battery issues

Seen that and similar issues all over UA-cam. Turned me away from it. I’m thinking about the TP9 SC.
@@KamalaKackles Seems like the problem may have been fixed.
Great Job I just ordered mine

The hardware on the Canik holster that came with my MC9 can be swapped to make it left hand or right hand.
@@doorgunner4752 thanks for the information. Yeah the more I watched videos on it. It does appear like you can reverse the belt loops.

Nice 👍
Question… what olights work on this gun?
I know the Baldr Min tactical PL-Mini 2 Valkyrie works.
Real deal hollyfield training my guy
Amazes me when a shooter says the gun is shooting low or in a particular direction, it's not the gun, it's you!🤣🤣🤣
