Wait this is absolutely insane. What? I had to look up the leaderboard just to make sure I wasn’t crazy and a lot of other people had 2:19s or something. Monumental run, and i hope it inspires even greater gameplay by wii super and others.
I absolutely love TCS and this speedrun is super dope. But for the life of me, I can’t get over watching you run past stud after stud after stud. My brain is hardwired to collect every single possible stud no matter what lol. Congrats on the WR!!
It really warms my heart to see that the community of this game is as alive as it is and that the game is still being pushed to it’s limits, almost 2 decades later… I still vividly remember playing the game for the first time when it came out. I was just a little kid and UA-cam was still in it’s infancy, not that I knew it existed anyways… Getting that first 100% save after what must’ve been months of playing felt like the best thing ever. Some of my fondest memories of PC gaming… Especially playing Negotiations over and over, quitting early and being proud of my “super fast method” of accumulating studs. The reality was I had no clue how to enable multipliers :D
Hi! I've been trying to beat this game without dying all in one try. So far I have made it to 4-5, but still really hard thing for me to accomplish. Have you ever tried something like this and think you could pull this off? I know this is not a speedrun related challenge, but I think maybe it could be great future run category.
The last time this wr dropped by this much covid-19 was still rampant Additional Note: The last 2 times the record dropped this much was TCS's greatest and arguably still is the greatest speedrun ever performed in TCS and the last time before that was before sub 3 was ever something that was thought to be realistic
Loading the last room loads in the end level trigger, then back tracking to a certain point activates the end level trigger. We have to do the Out Of Bounds because we can't get far enough by just walking back. This trick let's you walk right into the Falcon at the end without having to activate the bridge or shoot any stormtroopers
