My experience was mostly the same...I had some knowledge but started from the beginning of the course. Overall it felt like I learned a lot of vocabulary but not a lot of sentence structure. It also doesn't really explain much. I think there also a few words/phrases that while technically correct, aren't really normally said in Japan. Anyway, great video 🙂
