🦠Bacteria entering the urethra is one of the most common reasons for UTI.
Sexual activities such as m@sturbation, penetration, 0ral sex can force the bacteria in and around the genital area, towards the urethra!
🧫And with the right conditions, these bacteria can grow and cause UTIs.
🤔So, how do you prevent that?
You should practice intimate hygiene both before and after sex. Here are some tips to consider -
💦Peeing after sex (this can flush out the bacteria from the urethra)
🛁After sex, cleanse your vaginal area with mild water. (Say no to a vaginal wash! This can irritate the skin and increase the risk for a UTI)
🧐Don't hold your pee (we mean it! Holding pee can encourage bacterial growth)
🩲Wear cotton underwear (this increases airflow and prevents moisture, which doesn't let bacteria grow)
