From Leo: You did great my friend. I like a 4 string better, but the MJ-5 looks like a good instrument. 5 string basses are generally pretty heavy, 5 Kilo seems reasonable.

5kg is overkill. that's a heavy bass. strange because i've had 3 enhanced bentons, all were mid weight 4.1-4.5 kg

Not a bass player either that's a good sounding bass clean with high enough out put to get dirty I'm really not a tech guy either so if it will do those 2 things that's all I need I would have totally fallen flat on my ass had I tried demoing a bass you did fine as much as my opinion counts
