- It's no secret that humans are the Earth's most dominant species. And, without proof of life anywhere else in the Universe, we can probably consider ourselves the most dominant species in space too.
But what if there were others just like us millions of years ago? How do we even know that we're the first advanced civilization to call planet Earth home? And, if there have been others, what kind of traces have they left for us to find?

Wow, i've had this theory for awhile now. It's nice to see i'm not the only one. With plate tectonics consistently moving the ground, it's possible that evidence of past civilizations could have moved under the sea floor, or back into the mantle of the earth. Turning anything they might've left behind into lava or just burying it under far too much ocean water for us to get to.

The sad thing is that certain theories have become pretty much dogma in the science community. There is a real problem with the science fields where they don't want to consider other theories or evidence because their egos won't allow them to think they could be wrong.

Here's a timeline, it only took 66 years between the time the Wright Brothers took that first flight on Kitty Hawk until 2 men named Neil and Buzz set foot on the moon.
Everything makes perfect sense and I of course agree, but there is tons of phisical proof that archeology love to ignore, the megalithic architecture found worldwide, which was impossible for primitive cultures to build, such as the pyramids, the walls of Sacsayuaman and many others, dated on the last settlements over them.

So basically it would be much complex and difficult to live underground. And why even try though , since life is possible on the lithosphere
@@vanshverma6581 It would be kind of difficult indeed and we should still rely to the atmosphere of the earth to get air flow (filtered, altered or not). Location is also key since we'd need to find fresh water somewhere underground. The temperature is also an issue which means it does have a direct impact to the distance from the so called base we build to the surface, but we still do not have energy unless we dig even deeper for heat. Than we need food, vitamin D, something to pass the time with, something for lethargy, something to stop us from going crazy or to get too uptight in the long run, etc. etc.

@Vivek Reddy u miss the point. A great filter is a theoretical challenge for civilizations to overcome so great it's almost impossible to advance further. Which is why our great filter is probably ahead of us in the form of pollution.

What if.... the thing that ended one civilization becomes the base on which new civilizations formed. Suppose that the things that we consider NATURE today as an important part of our lives was something that ended some previous civilization. And these are the very relics that the previous civilization had left behind, it's just that we never realize it. If there will be a future civilization then maybe they might be made to live in radiations and plastics and other such things are just like PLANTS or OXYGEN to them.
