Hi there, thanks for this video - very informative. I'm pretty interested in this model or the 233 with extendable rear slide out (or maybe even the Hollywood), but have been trying to find out if any owners had experienced any issues with water getting into the cabin via the slide outs. Is this something that has ever happened to you? Also, I've seen some vendors saying that the Transformer and Hollywood are strictly on road, but others that say they can be semi offroad (as in, could be taken off the tarmac but not suitable for 4WD). I would be interested in parking in a similar environment to where you shot this video - I don't want to spend much time in caravan parks and would rather go off grid at private properties. Just wondering how "off road" you have been comfortable going with yours? Thanks again for the video.
Hi, we have never had any water come in through the side If you get the rear slide out, just note that you cannot carry a firewood box Bumper We’ve taken hours off road. We went to notch point Queensland on the beach but not full hard-core 4x4 not yet anyway we do have the full airbag suspension which is capable for off-road which will help
Actually - sorry - follow up question.... does Lotus do airbag suspension from the factory, or is that after market? Not keen on the Torflex option that seems to come with most of these slide out models. Thanks
Bloody awesome setup guys! Just subscribed to follow along as we’re planning on leaving next year for however long it takes to see this amazing country of ours so we might run into each other!🤙🏽 Also you could use a fusion-loc toilet roll holder and place it anywhere you like and move it later if it doesn’t suit! 🙌🏽 and who wouldn’t like a pack of cards? 👊🏽
Hi. We put child locks on the front of the drawers. We got them from Bunnings. Adhesive Universal Flexi Locks. It’s a white packet with clear front. Hope this helps.

Plenty of ventilation. There is a hatch fan in the bathroom and shower. When you open up both sides of the van windows, the breeze passes through which is really nice. We are typically out all day Exploring this fantastic country If it’s too hot at night time we turn the Aircon on but typically only run for around 2 to 3 hours it works amazing and cools the whole caravan down really quickly and stays cool.
Hi, thanks for that. That’s a good question. Will get back to you on that. We will do a test tomorrow on a standard wash and a long wash and will measure the water out of a bucket and let you know
Met these guys at Thornton Beach on their way to Cooktown - happy travels

Great set up! Love all the storage ideas 💡 cool design on the cards, how can I get a pack ?
Can you please tell me the height of the set of drawers on your bunks and where you purchased them from? There exactly what I need for my bunk TIA

Also where did you get those cards made, they look awesome and a great gift!
Sorry I just realised you bought them from office works. What are the white lock things that you have placed on the front of each drawer?

Leave it as it is, no one puts the roll on the toilet roll holder anyway these days
Yep, that’s what I was thinking 👍
What a set-up! Seriously - 4.5t tonne! How are you finding air-conditioning/heating/ventilation working?

Great video. How much water does your washing machine use on a quick wash, and regular too if you know please

Thank you 😊
Lotus are so far behind the times it's not funny. Meranti Timber frame? Yeah no thanks
Can’t please everyone. Not sure what they use, but I reckon the van looks good. Well done guys!
@@escalatorsafetyptyltd1813they use timber lol. None of the top caravan manufacturers still use timber
