After re-watching the Michigan game I think we are in big trouble. USC defensive front actually held up pretty well on most plays. They didn't really get pushed off the ball. The Michigan backs were just bruising, broke tackles, and hit a few good lanes. We are not gonna bust off 50 yard runs with the backs we have. They go down with one hit. And if USC can hit big pass plays against the Michigan secondary with their pass rush, man I am scared for Saturday.
Michigan didn't look as tough this week. And Alabama is better than everyone gave them credit for..... Better than #4 - so it's no wonder Wisconsin got their butts kicked . Bama was maybe the best team in the Nation - TBD

Also we are much more physical and have much more size than last year and have much better positioning due to our new DC...LOL. Also we faced the best D LINE in the country and the best corner in the country and despite all of this lost by 3 in a game I truly believe we should have won. For sure looking forward to this game due to grinch and tackett curtis coming back to the coli. See yall there.

Michigan had two big plays running in the 2nd half. Which accounted for half their yards. USC beat themselves more than Michigan beating them by 3 points late in the 4th quarter in the big house. SC is 15th in total defense in the Nation🔥⚔️🔥 I think you're going to see a better prepared Trojans Team in the Coli...✌️

14 points is conservative. That USC offense is legit. Think about the fact that their offensive line got pushed around, they had a couple turnovers, dropped passes - they could've easily scored 35+ points on one of the nest defenses in the country, probably a top 10 group. Their defense is no joke either. This could get really ugly pretty quick if wisc isn't perfect
I hope the mindset is that y’all are gonna come out and run the ball on the defense. The defense dominated Michigan in the second half . They had 9 yards the entire half until the one long run. If it wasn’t for the pick 6 , USC wins that game. So I hope your coaches game plan is to try and test USC physically. FTFO
Ryan, w/o TVD, w/o better running production, w/o being stronger in the D-line, it could be a long afternoon. Just be ready for that. I hope we surprise on the upside in the opposite direction, but I think the probabilities of that are low as we haven’t seen enough to date in that regard and are w/o a starting qb.
IMO if UW doesn't put at least 30 pts up against USC they will get boat-raced. I don't believe the Badger defense can slow down the USC offense so they'll need to win a shootout. I'm just not sure this team has enough offense to keep pace.
USC's defense is too good to let it get to a shootout. The only reason those few runs popped open for Michigan is because the defense was gassed. I don't see wisconsin forcing consecutive 3 and outs like Michigan did.
Ryan - remember when Longo was hired and everyone was so excited to see Allen and Mellusi run against light boxes? We were all laughing at future opponents! It’s sad where we are at now.
They aren’t that good. 23.5 point favorites against Western Michigan. 17.5 point favorites against South Dakota. 17.5 point dogs to Alabama. O/U wins last year was 8.5. 7 this year. We have yet to cover anything.
