- SEASON FINALE!
On this flight, we fly from Van Nuys, California to Maui Hawaii. I also go over a few of the oceanic procedures that we perform as we fly over the great blue.

Thank you to Jesus Williams for helping me with this amazing flight across the Pacific to Hawaii. It was an incredible trip.
Thank you for watching my content! It truly helps me as a creator and I greatly appreciate it.
Sincerely
Brian Monette

Jazz was a nice touch, gave cockpit chronicles vibes :) Thanks for uploading.
Absolutely. More to come.
Nice vid!! Really enjoyed it! I’ve crossed North Pacific to Hawaii about 10 times, Hawaii to Fiji 2 times and North Atlantic about 100 times and counting. Thanks again for the great vid. Nice balance with the music❤ I’ve never flown the 350 however I’ve heard nothing but great things about it.
Fingers crossed I get assigned the Challenger, this kind of flight would be awesome. 🤘🏼
It would be awesome to welcome you to the Challenger club, bro.
Great content!! Could you do a day in the life for future videos 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Love the jazz in the background and the 300 jet nice too. Be safe and enjoy flying man
Yessir. I was in a jazzy mood for this one. I might include some jazz in future videos.
Thank you so much for the tutorial. Even though I am 63 I actually understood what you were showing. That was really exciting, and it goes to show you are never too old to learn.
Glad it was helpful!
Nice...
Great content 👍 keep it up
Such a cool video! I’ve been following your instagram for a while and just made it over to UA-cam. I’ve been missing out!
Thank you. I’m trying to get more people over to this side.
Looking cool.
Another awesome flight Brian. I love to watch you fly!
Brilliant clips Brian.
Informative for aspiring pilots.
Please kill the background music. It's disturbing. I can't image being in class with music playing.
Please add more cockpit cameras.

Awesome video. Love those flights where you provide the narration 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed it
Good video Brian! Glad to see you back!
I think its an awesome flight and hope you preform this flight in the future soon!
Thank you for showing us this - it's awesome to see behind the curtain! :)
Glad you liked it!
Very good. Thank you for this video.
This is awsome!
Brian another good video. I'm so glad you covered ETP and other subjects in this video. I'm sure your company like so many are having problems getting high time pilots with experience. We are seeing many questionable hires being made and sent to us to train. When I discuss ETP, many have no idea what I'm talking about. The drift down as well. I always show the charts and what to expect if you lose an engine at altitude. Was this an older video, as you're on the Gulfstream now? Safe travels. Can't wait for next season.
Yes, this was an older video that I filmed back in April of last year. It was recovered on an old hard drive. Thanks for the comment. I’m glad to share my knowledge.
👍✅ Nice video BrIan, tks.
Thanks 👍
Hello Brian I just discovered your channel now and it's amazing! I'm a private pilot to currently flying hawker 800 xpi in Africa. I'd like to get in touch with you guys! If you read me please answer!
Awesome plane. Do you miss anything about the 300 being on the Gulfstream?
Beats any Gulfstream as looks go in my opinion, save the 650. But then looks aren't important in relation to other tests.
I like the gulf stream way more than the Challenger. But the Challenger is still near and dear to my heart, because I knew that plane like the back of my hand. The G550 is a beast to tame but I handle her well.
No CPDLC on the 300? Makes you love the 550 that much more lol Crossings in that thing are a breeze man. We also use ARINC for electronic plotting. Im assuming that Journey Log is a 135 / company requirement? Either way great content as always bro.
Yeah it’s a 135 thing. The 550 is way better. Just crossed the pond over to St. Maarten. Insta @mayhempark
This was another awesome flight.. the cameras running at start up and throughout the flight are parts of what makes your videos enjoyable. Are you now leaving the challenger for good and onto the gulfstream permanently?
Thank you for commenting. My last flight in the Challenger took place last year in September. As of now I am completely on the Gulfstream 550.
Maybe in the future, I will be able to get my recurrent done for the Challenger for some additional income but the G550 is way more amazing. I had a great 4 1/2 years flying the Challenger and I will miss it dearly.
@@BrianMonette it will miss you also.. you served it well now onwards and upwards no pun intended. I can’t wait for the same type of video presentation in the new bird… enjoy the pay bump captain!!! Ya gotta save for your daughters college education and the right seat next to you while you both enjoy the skies together. 😎
Thanks for the video! Do the Pacific tracks change daily such as the Atlantic tracks?
Not Pacific. They stay the same.
Here before 1 mil Philippians 4:13
Brian how many passengers not including the pilots can the Challenger 300 carry to Hawaii?
Challenger 300 is a twin engine aircraft. Is it ETOPS rated?
Long, but good uneventful flight,
Couple of weeks crossing on a boat...
Is there an oceanic clearance required when flying over the Pacific? Or is it just a North Atlantic thing?
@BrianMonette Brian, why do you think they sell more challengers than g280’s? Are the challengers a lot cheaper, more dependable, etc. I am no pilot and I know you can’t go by paper but on paper the g280 looks like the better plane. Thanks in advance.
I honestly couldn’t really give that answer because I haven’t flown a G280 before. But I do know that challenger 300s and challenger 350s are very popular because they are more user-friendly and the costs are typically low for a private jet ownership. Also, they are still in production, so it makes getting parts easier.
@@BrianMonette Thank you!!!!
I'm in 350 initial, currently. Can't wait for that first Hawaii trip!
For once someone explained SF Radio correctly. I worked SF Radio for 6 years.
Very cool. I might have talked to you before.
