I really struggle with tying knots and this is the best and clearest explanation of how to tie my flagpole rope that I have ever found. Thank you!

I watched a number of these videos and Adrian was the only presenter that CLEARLY showed how to loop and knot. Excellent!

Adrian, You do an excellent job of demonstrating, however, you're not tying the double-fisherman's correctly and that leaves the knots improperly dressed and unable to form the smooth barrel appearance you seek. Rather than forming the second wrap of the knot in the same direction and next to the first wrap, bring the second wrap crossing over the first. This leaves the working end already placed on the side from which to feed the ends thru the wraps. When tightened & cinched the two knots will lock together in a smooth barrel form. You may wish to re-demonstrate.
