Everytime i face any doubt. I just go through these videos made by amit sengupta. I think he is the best we all can have , he charges no money for it, so guys buckle down.
Hey, great videos. But just wanted to point out a small error that is being continuously repeated over the videos. So when two tectonic plates of different density/weight collide, the one that is denser or heavier usually subduct's beneath the other. This typically occurs when an oceanic plate collides with a continental plate or another oceanic plate. The denser oceanic plate will usually be forced beneath the less dense continental plate, or in the case of two oceanic plates, the older and colder plate will subduct beneath the younger and warmer one. In case of both continental plates, neither plate is significantly denser or heavier than the other, so subduction typically doesn't occur. Instead, both plates are usually pushed upwards, forming large mountain ranges. The collision results in intense geological activity, such as folding, faulting, and uplifting of the Earth's crust (this is what resulted to what we today called The Himalayas).
Wonderfully explained! Specially the way the video is edited, putting in appropriate videos and diagrams in the box. Dil se thank you for all your effort.
Yeah , I too was wondered .... I was getting many points Missing .... Many times I checked the number written on page if as page is missing ... Many graphs and tables are also Missing in new NCERT 😑
Dear Sir, I find your videos very useful and impactful, It's always a treat watching them, I would request you to make the same kind videos for G.C Leong Geography Book as well. It would be of a very very Great Help.

Bcz of lockdown I couldn’t bought 11th and 12th books...but thanks to the almighty I come across this...n going chapter by chapter....🙏🏻...other coaching charging 80k for only providing consolidated material....and Amit Sir is doing it free....very thing is perfect but if speed of speaking would be slow then have been more better...as I have to go back n forth for every topic...thank you
When I read the book i felt it to be so boring and monotonous, but your lecture made this chapter interesting and made me curious to learn more. Thank you sir 🥰🙏
I am really happy to get such an interactive lecture. I am heartily thanking you for such a comprehensive and convenient teaching. Greatly helpful for exam time.

Great video! Wonderfully explained. Thank you so much. I wanted to highlight one issue about the present edition of class XI physical geography book (might be helpful for those studying for exams presently)- I guess due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been rationing of the topics in the textbook, which has led to several abrupt rise of topics within a chapter and lack of flow from one topic to another. For example, under mass movement, the textbook only has landslide now, whereas in the earlier edition of textbook we had rapid and slow movement (which we see in the above video). If you pay attention to MCQ in the post-chapter exercise section, rapid and slow movement is mentioned even though it is absent in the main text. Also, few figures like figure 6.1 is missing from the present edition but the in-text mention of (Figure 6.1) is mentioned. Very badly done editing by NCERT. In this context, the above video was certainly a blessing.
Sir everything was right except you left one topic and that is *EROSION* and *DEPOSITION* . Thank you so much sir for this video , I really helped me a LOTTT!!!!!

Yes, you are correct.
Himalaya formation is from sediments of tethys sea as indian plate is heavier than eurasian plate it slipped below the eurasian plate

Not bigger but denser plate.
@@mohdfaizan1126more denser got subducted under denser one.
@@tbfyouthtalks1812 right bro
Usually denser part goes under. But if same density plates collide then bigger plate goes under the smaller plate
Oceanic plate undergo subduction due to its higher density then continental plate
