Kato has an 'oily' surface and I've read that rinsing the surface with rubbing alcohol can get rid of that oily surface for already baked pieces. This is a really really gorgeous tutorial, thank you so much for sharing!!
Hi! Lovely pieces! What did you use for your matte finish to help them look "less plastic". I couldn't make out what brand you said in the video. Thank you! Great tutorial! 😊
Can any liquid polymer clay products be painted over a small cement / concrete or plaster of paris flower and then baked in the oven to give the cement a ceramic glazed look?
After 15 years of playing with polymer clay, I have never seen this technique. I love it!!! And Gayle, you are a wonderful teacher!

Dust your pieces with corn starch before you bake them then you can paint on them after they are baked 😊
Great eye opener for the use of inks and liquid clay. Thanks so much
I realize I am kinda off topic but does anybody know a good site to stream newly released movies online?

Just FYI for viewers: TLS (Translucent Liquid Sculpey) isn't as shiny as Kato liquid but can be colored and applied the same way. 😊
Oooooo good to know!
would you explain why liquid polymer clay is necessary to mix for the paint?

I'm not sure but it sounds worth trying!
@@GayleBird Thanks for the response.
Ingenious! I am looking forward to trying out this technique! :)
Have you ever tried the pigmented inks like Dr. Ph Martin's?
Very nice pieces. What kind of silver chain should I purchase if I'm going to sell my pieces?
Depends on your wire, budget, client budget, the look you want, etc. It's complicated!
Are there shows/exhibits where you can see all the various art mediums??
I like you, you get right to it!! Thanks this is exactly what I was looking for.
Brilliant innovation
