I can't tell you how many failed attempts I have had at frosting. I gave up! I watched your three videos and it prompted me to try again. I screamed and jumped and down when it came out so beautiful! Thank u 😘😘 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
I tried your recipe today ! I want to say, thank you for sharing your knowledge! I made mine with some Vanilla Bean foaming bubble bath I had, it is the same consistency as my liquid soap, but gave a whole lot more lather to the frosting! Again your great! Loved you videos!
What a fantastic video thanks so much for doing it. Is it possible to pipe it onto a melt and pour loaf of soap do you know? Would it stick? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you💚
I like this recipe but I prefer my frosting a little more firm so i add cocoa butter to my mix just so i know that if the cupcake box is turned upside down while shipping my frosting wont dent. I do suggest the halfing the melt and pour to bathwhip because sometimes it just wont harden up all the way for me after doing the touch test. I do sub the hand soap for glycerin or some other all natural surfactant. I do also like how you demo'd more than 1 recipe to show others that it can be done without using sugar, which I had a bad out come from using the powdered sugar. There is a good reason why doctors tell you not to use food "down Under". Powdered sugar in tub water = unwanted vaginal problems for people who have sensitive skin which was unfortunate. My company is based on products for sensitive skin, which is why i always use it first since my skin is very sensitive. Usually if i can't use it, i couldn't sell it to others who have sensitive skin so this is a great alternative. all my M&P bases are detergent free. I'll have to join your group.
Hello, Could you please tell me what you added to the mountain poor mixture after you started mixing it was in a white bottle with light blue label ? You held it up and pulled it away fast, that I couldn't even try to stop on it, to see what it was. Thanks for awesome videos. I have been a subscriber for a little while And I have enjoyed watching your videos and learned a lot. I have everything for my soap studio except for one thing and that is my Soap cutter. I have been doing melt and pour for a while and added cold processing, and now rebatching in a crock pot. Thanks again, God bless Deb
Awesome video!!! I tried your recipe and absolutely LOVE IT! However I have a quick question, how long does it take before it gets hard? Its been several hours and mine is still semi soft. It has kept its shape wonderfully, but still a little soft. Thank you again for the great lesson!
is it going to have the same consistency if i use glycerin, crafter's choice bath whip and melt and pour soap? would that be the same consistency as your final products?
I know it has been a long time since you posted this video...but I just wanted to thank you. When I was searching for a melt and pour - I went on a soap forum...and no one wanted to share their recipe. I am fairly new to both cold process and melt and pour so i thank you tremendously - It may be Sep of 2015...but you are sill helping people. My one quick question is....I had purchased Glycerin from Wholesalesuppliesplus - is that the same as liquid hand soap? I would rather use the cheap liquid hand soap - so much more economical - but I was just wondering if its technically the same? Oh...and I have noticed in the dollar store that many liquid hand soaps say "Antibacterial" do you think it maters or should I really search out "plain Liquid hand soap"...Thanks again - I loved your video. ~~~ Karen (From Newport News - VA) :)
I use to use Dr. Bonner Castile soap. It is pretty stripped down to basic ingredients. I have not tried the glycerin. Please let me k ow how it works if you try it. Join our FB group called The Soapers Lounge. We are a friendly bunch.
I've done your melt and pour recipe (#1 with m/p, bath whip & hand soap) twice now. I love this recipe but mine does not get as hard as what you showed in video 1. If I were to push that hard on it, it would have an indention. I even tried adding meringue powder to it. 😞 any suggestions?
Good Afternoon! Can you please tell me what is the name(supplier/brand) of the bath whip you said you prefer. I couldn't catch what you said. thanks so much!!! I want to give a whirl for Halloween soaps
I just went and watched a Edens Secrets video. She makes a frosting and uses "Whipped Bath Butter" I am wondering if it is one and the same. Sorry wish I could be more definite in my answer.
Try less Bath Whip. Bath Whip varies from maker to maker. My favorite is from Essentials by Catalina in California. These videos were trying different variations. It is a guide to encourage people to test and try their own variations.
Jessie DeSena I used Crafters Choice before buying Essentials. It should work also, just change it up until you get your formula worked out. As far as the hand soap....go with as natural as you can get. Try a little less of the hand soap also. I believe the hand soap gives you a little more time to play before it sets up.
Thanks I did a small test and I used 6 Oz of clear mp and 4 Oz of fbw and 2 pumps of liquid hand soap. It works great to pipe . When it dries it still spongy :/
I wonder if some cream of tartar would help the hardening process, like in a bath bomb, or maybe add some kaolin clay? Hmm just an idea..... Gonna try it!
It could be anything from the Fragrance Oil your using to the Bath Whip. I swear by Eassential By Catalinas Bath Whip. I used BB before this and it worked well also.
corena garoutte I personally do not use Meringue. However some people do. These videos were to test 3 simple recipes that are common. I use the Bath Whip, Melt and Pour and Hand Soap for my favorite recipe.

awesome recipe! I used clear unscented liquid dish soap, and it worked fantastic!!! whipped up so lovely and piped wonderfully, just like frosting!
What brand of melt and pour soap did you use? Thank you so much for this video it is awesome
These are so much fun! So many different ways and all are so much fun. :)Jen

How much butter do you use
I've never thought to use cocoa butter! What a great idea Patty Cakes! :) So many fun ways to make soap frosting, true! :)Jen

I know this was a long time ago for you but this has helped me so much. Thank you :)
Your welcome! Thank you for watching.
Hi, did you use Goat's milk M/P? and, how long do you re-melt it in the microwave to reuse it? Thanks.
is it going to have the same consistency if i use glycerin, crafter's choice bath whip and melt and pour soap? would that be the same consistency as your final products?
Great video, thanks for sharing.
Dean Wilson I do like ur videos it seems too beautiful and easy ❤️❤️❤️
how long does it take for it to get hard? Made this earlier today and its kinda spongy. thanks for the recipe, it really helped.
Is it just any clear liquid soap???
What was the stuff you put in while mixing it? How much did you put in? I tried to read the bottle but it was too fast.
Does this harden good enough to package up and not damage? I need a good frosting for my bath bombs!

@Momma Hamblin do you add anything to your frosting to help it become hard... mine is in a semi- firm state/ and I cut the recipe in half.
I've done your melt and pour recipe (#1 with m/p, bath whip & hand soap) twice now. I love this recipe but mine does not get as hard as what you showed in video 1. If I were to push that hard on it, it would have an indention. I even tried adding meringue powder to it. 😞 any suggestions?
cut back on the Bath Whip. Also I have found different companies Bath Whips vary in thickness. My favorite is Essentials By Catalina for sure.
AWESOME..THANKS SO MUCH!
Awesome video Ricci!!!!!!!!
Thank you Carla!
Can Castile soap be used instead of the hand soap?
Does it lather n bubble like the m&p soap?
Good Afternoon! Can you please tell me what is the name(supplier/brand) of the bath whip you said you prefer. I couldn't catch what you said. thanks so much!!! I want to give a whirl for Halloween soaps
I prefer Essentials by Catalina. They are based out of Southern California
i know you did this a long time ago, but this video has helped me alot! thank you so much, I'll be looking for your group on Facebook. :)
Can I use a ziplock bag and cut a whole I'm starting to go broke buying all the stuff
+Lorri Boyce You can, but sometimes when the frosting sets up and push hard, it can rip the bag.
So you would put it in the fridge and reheat and remix?
can this frosting be dry after sometime
Can't get foam bath whip in the U.K. But I can get foaming bath butter is it the same thing ??
I just went and watched a Edens Secrets video. She makes a frosting and uses "Whipped Bath Butter" I am wondering if it is one and the same. Sorry wish I could be more definite in my answer.
What meringue means ? Is it tha white of egg
My frosting seems kinda firm yet spongy....is that how it's supposed to be?
Genesis N Christy Hoopai mine is the same
Thank you so much🤗🤗🤗
Where did you get that glass measuring cup?
+SouthernSudsAndFizz SS&F I find them at Walmart and some grocery stores. They are the perfect size for FOs.
Thank you!!!!
I have a question: Why the hand sanitizer?
I do not use Hand Sanitizer. This video was an experiment with i gredients I had heard others using.
Oh my what a pain just to make a comment....love the video but I now know why no one is responding to it...you tube just got harder to use :[
I haven't left a comment on anything yet. I hope it doesn't get more difficult :(
I've made this recipe 2 times and the frosting is soft and does not get hard. anyone else had this issue?
Try less Bath Whip. Bath Whip varies from maker to maker. My favorite is from Essentials by Catalina in California. These videos were trying different variations. It is a guide to encourage people to test and try their own variations.

Every time I do this my frosting gets stringy. It's so irritating.

I dont understand why meringue is needed
corena garoutte I personally do not use Meringue. However some people do. These videos were to test 3 simple recipes that are common. I use the Bath Whip, Melt and Pour and Hand Soap for my favorite recipe.
